Fantastic results on that turning! Make a metal plate with holes drilled in it to keep the floaties down in the Cactus Juice. On light colored wood you can add Alumilite dyes to the juice and store the leftovers in a mason jar for next time. ✌

Just stumbled on this tonight, after dropping my comment on the popcorn bowl. Now that's brilliant. If it had a tight lid, it'd be great for coffee bean storage. The quirkier you get, the more ideas I get to make quirky stuff. And try new things. This one gave me a brilliant idea. Thanks as always. Keep it weird, quirky, and imaginative.

Glad you are feeling better. The BW transition from heartwood to sapwood to the white resin w/ the coffee beans is awesome. I'm surprised there was not more problems with the beans and being slightly hollow when turning them.

I was surprised also. I did have to fill the voids in the beans with CA glue after I turned. It was a lot more than in the video.

Good choice of that walnut for the "meat" of the bowl itself. I love how, on the inside, it kind of looks like a giant coffee bean. I like how you always have fun with your projects - of course, if it wasn't fun, would you do it? Anyway, keep up the good work. It is always a treat to watch your videos, and I hope it is a long, long time before you move onto something else.

Great finish! Still weirded out by the slo mo section and funky music.. I have never used DNA after abrasive paste. I may try that. You got a beautiful shiny finish!

Although I have no problems with Ack and my finishes. I did notice a slightly better finish if I wipe the grit paste off after. It has wax in it and sometime is can play hell with a finish.
