My brother did a portrait of Mr Henry for the Archibald and they would not let it in. He's allready won the achibold. He was not gloryfiyng violance it was just a Sydney person we grew up hearing about in the news as kids. I'm glad he's well and looking good. Crooks can stop.

I'm 60 now and when I was a younger I landed in prison a few times and I met the best and worst of men there. This dude talks of an era when you never gave up your mates OR enemies. My father was a navy man, straight as they come and when I was a kid we would stir up the local cop shop in the middle of the night and they'd chase us and slap us around if they caught us. One night I got chased and put my foot through a public toilet cistern trying to jump through a window from the cops. Anyway got caught and the old man had to come and get me from the cop shop. I'll never forget what he said to me, he praised me for not giving up my mates. As this fella says, not ratting on people, not giving people up was not negotiable and it was ingrained into us from childhood
