Hey brother. I have crippling arthritis. I 64 and have let the pain keep me in my recliner during the days for years. I was an avid fisherman and watching your videos has encouraged me to get out of my chair and fish. It's been difficult but I've been out 2 times now in 3 weeks. Gosh my outlook on life has increased so much. Thanks for your encouragement! 🎣

Hey Nick, just wanted to pass along how much your videos are a pleasure to watch. I travel a lot for my business and tend to watch your content at odd hours to relax a bit and it helps! Currently 4am on a Hawaii trip, bad jet lag, but your vid is there to help! Keep doing it!

That's crappie is known as a black nose or magnolia crappie. Always interesting to catch somewhat rare fish to be sure. Spring is right around the corner, gonna be a great year.
@Sandman14xx4 жыл бұрын
Mark Withers yea aren’t those like mutations ?
@creeksidehashman53654 жыл бұрын
@@Sandman14xx exactly, just a genitic mutation that occurs. Some places have more than others, definitely not a separate species. I've been fortunate to have caught the black nose crappie and silver pike and a friend caught a striped pike. A lot of interesting fish swim our waters.
@thataverageguy38834 жыл бұрын
Not that rare. We have them all over here in missouri
@RevampedOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Was going to say the same thing, I think the mutation is more prevalent the further south you go in the US, I haven't seen any up here in WI, probably some around somewhere just never got one. I remember seeing a bunch in videos from Texas.

I think the "stripe" is actually considered a lateral line, a system of sense organs found in aquatic vertebrates, used to detect movement, vibration, and pressure gradients in the surrounding water.
@charlesferry35412 жыл бұрын
Lateral lines are on the fish's side hence the "lateral".
