Oh, same here. I bought one absolute (Hush) and then started to go down the rabbit hole. It was too much. I’m back to just omnis and deluxe OHCs for those stories that don’t require a full omni (like Tower of Babel)

OK, finally watched the whole video. This may sound odd, but I'm a huge Tim Sale fan, and a Dick Grayson fan, but not really into Batman. I'd never heard of Dark Victory, but will now have to own some version of it. Maybe see if it's available as a Deluxe ! And I am soooo incredibly proud of you and Jess both ! So wonderful that you are both now your true, sober selves ! I was fortunate to make it out alive from a seriously bad scene in my younger 20s. I recently found out that yet another of those I was close to back then died of a drug overdose. I've also lost many I care about to alcohol as well. I really can't picture my life presently without the two of you, sober, in it, even though we don't know each other personally. And, if you get my e-mail address from Jess, I can let you know of a few hard to find, especially at an OK price, books I'm on the hunt for. Oh, and a mutual friend of Jess and myself is still, I believe, on the hunt for The Spectre Omnibus at a not too bad price.

Great video! question if you are in and want to read if you have the option of the omni or absolute which is your preferred choice ?

It depends. If the tie ins are important like in infinite crisis Omni I’d prefer the Omni, if the tie ins aren’t critical like final crisis I love the absolute. If they have the same content like fourth world I love the absolute. But more and more I’m reading on the go at school, or work on my 12.9 iPad Pro. I keep the Omnis and absolutes for reading at home.

They were never released in America. They are from the now defunct European company eaglemoss. They are deluxe editions of murder and fugitive
