I have never heard of a alligator gar fish before. Omg how fun. Dad used to go to Canada and catch Great Northern Pike and they were huge he would save one and have it mounted he had a whole wall in his house full of them. Forgot what the other was called started with a W. Brings back alot of memories getting up early and go out fishing with my Dad and his buddies. They would get out about 5:00 and stay out until around 6:00 go home and eat get their showers get to bed and do it all again for 2 weeks straight. My grandmother and my Mom would go sometime with them that's when I got to go too. So fun. God bless you both 🙏❤ glad you got a chance to get out and have a little fun fishing with your old buddies 😊 🙏❤

Mr. Jimmy, will alligator gar eat toes???? LOL Our daughter asked us that question once when we were camping at Quartz Mountain near Altus. At the time we were riding paddle boats in the river and saw some kids on yak boards dangling their feet in the water. We had already seen some gar and decided we'd play it safe!!!! Workers told us they were alligator gar but they were a lot smaller than that behemoth you caught!!!! Either way, I bet a nibble from even a small one would hurt!!!! Loved the video and loved hearing your laugh!!!! God bless!!!! 🐊🐊🐊🐊
