So sorry for your loss, my passed about 40 years ago and I still miss her every day. We just keep them in our hearts. And smile when I think of things she would of said that now come out of my mouth to my kids... My oldest daughter said a few years ago that when she opens her mouth her mom falls out... And that's so true we find ourselves saying the exact things they would like they are still with us...

Hey Jess - I'm so glad you shared this time with us today. I adore the banter between you and Miah. The affection is apparent and adorable. Also, I absolutely love how you made sure you had Ben's attention before explaining where and how you wanted his help planting the seedlings with no demanding or raised voices. I guess some would call it "gentle parenting", but to me it is just showing respect for these young humans you are raising. If we model respectful interactions, then that is what they learn. So. Sweet boy, I'm a Grammie of two girls, being an honorary Grammie of such a great little boy makes me happy. God bless you all. I'm learning so much from a whole lot of great homesteaders. I have big hopes for a garden next year. Right now I'm supporting a lot of local farms and preserving so much! Water canning is something I've done before, but I bought a pressure canner this year during Prime Day along with a vacuum sealer for frozen foods and a dehydrator. Here's to a new start next spring. Short growing season here in Maine ❤️

😭😭😭 I'm so bummed I didn't get to go this year! I met you at HOA back in 2019 and had such a wonderful heartfelt talk with you and Miah about the daughter i lost, and how finding you and following you played a HUGE part in my journey in grief, i wont say heal bc you never heal from a loss like that but you helped me find part of my soul i had lost... In 2020 I shared with you that I had my rainbow baby boy in a live chat (you remembered me and was so genuinely happy for me)...now I'm 31 weeks today with a surprise little guy. Even though i live in Va 2 ¹/2 hours away from Front Royal, I know that trip would have been too much right now...doesn't change that that's where my heart and mind wishes it was. I hope everyone has an amazing time and I'll be there next year!! ❤

Blessings and best wishes! So sorry for your loss, but so happy God has doublely blessed you and your sweethearts! I lost one, had my precious son, and was so honored and privileged to be his Mom and watch him blossom into an amazing, loving, compassionate man who became a father to a beautiful baby boy to whom he was the proudest of Dad's. My grandson is now almost 18, and I've been blessed to be in his life since the day after he was born. We lost my son, at only 49, just days after his birthday on October 20, 2021. This month is especially hard for me since it holds both his birthday and passing date. My grandson now lives with his Mom so instead of seeing him almost daily, I now only see him only once or twice a month. It's almost like losing them both in a way. May our good,God bless abd kerp you all in his loving care and give you a safe, easy, and healthy birth for you both.

When my spouse is gone, I turn the heat down to 50F or just completely off. Then enjoy that storybook idea of being able to bundle up for sleep, and not be too hot. :) Love that wild sensation of being warm, and actually comfortable! Obviously we are only talking about winter. No one gets to go anywhere otherwise, really.
