Thanks Adam. Out in the toughest conditions for our entertainment. Baggin!

I live in the CBD in Auckland, New Zealand, and fish a city wharf. I'm retired and walk to the wharf at least a couple of times a week. We get loads of tourists through Auckland, and people from all over the world come and chat. It's got to the stage where the social interaction is as much fun as the fishing, so I know what you're talking about. The fishing rods seem to give people permission to come and talk.

Yeh it’s funny watching your videos ,used to live near York and later near harrogate before I moved to Canada in 97 , just waiting for the lakes to freeze which is happening as we speak so I can get out ice fishing - 20 this week dropping to - 30 on Thursday night so should get out in a couple of weekends ,once there is 5 or 6 inches it safe to walk on then a foot and a half and can drive on which is way easier for packing the gear.

Does my head in how our rivers go from shallow to flooded in no time at all! 🤦♂️ We haven’t even had much rain ☔️
@JordanBrown-lt5bjАй бұрын
Yeah but given how much rain we've had this year and last, the ground and water table are so saturated, even an insignificant amount of rain will raise rivers dramatically, anyway a lot of areas (in Wales especially) have seen copious amounts from Bert, some places recording 150mm.
