A number of lessons here for ladies who are getting married (1) Have enough time of courtship before you agree to marriage (2) when you are in a relationship, watch out for red flags (3) never abandon your career even when you get married, (4) always have a secret bank account which you should never reveal to him come rain come sunshine. I am a man and I can tell men can be tricky. If you are a learned woman why would you sacrifice your dignity for marriage? Never ever worry about public opinion. When you suffer, it's not them who suffer, it's you. Even if you have 5 children, get out of that marriage very fast and let God take care of the rest.

Thats good advice. When I got married, me and him had separate bank accounts. We shared bills but never comingled our finances. When we divorced, I didn't suffer at all and I'm actually thriving. I didn't give up my well paying job since he couldn't afford to take care of us. He was financially irresponsible

another lesson ladies should learn...priotise your financial freedom and power and independence, dont shelve ambitions, careers, leave employment, close that shop, put education on hold for marriage....this marks the beginning of misery in your life,no man will play around with an independent woman...you are a beautiful lady, focus on yourself and your kids..tigana na arume.

So sorry for this carlo.Thank God that you have managed to gather yourself and rebuild your life again. marriage should be entered into prayerfully, advisebly and with fear of God.we are all naked before God and seeking Him through can help us evade problems in marriage. If we find ourselves in abusive relationship its better to quit than be killed or live in depression. To those planning for marriage its important to seek counsel from genuine servants of God and parents and pray through because it can ruin entire life

Pole. Sana ..lakini ... Women have power! A child can never make a man stick to you ..it's just a way of making sure you as a woman your tied down...to commit to him...but what comes first ...vanishies also very first and men never value beauty as they glorify it initially that is the things I learned many years ago...and men forget so first and any irresponsible guy cannot make a husband.and many men who marry a woman who have kids from another man feels like you we be using him to help you raise another man's kids and they start madharau kidogo kidogo ata ukizaa mtoto wake..so the best thing ukitoka Kwa another marriage and you got young kids ...stay focused until your kids are fully grown..wamilize Hadi shule.. bcoz failure to these nasty consequences follows ...and women should stop reporting to a violent person that your planning to leave.!it's not wise.

I think the issue here is you both did communicate well before hand about the relationship - being a blended family. The man is reluctant to pay fees for the step son, but before then he seemed to be okay with it. What changed? Plus the woman seems to have expectations regarding the kind of lifestyle she wanted (this is clear from both marriages). Plus the health issues. Marriage can really stretch both partners. and many couples choose to remain in their comfort zones to the peril of their marriage/partnership
