When my grandparents died specifically my mom’s mom my entire world shattered. It’s truly amazing how much you can love another human, and when it’s their time leave this planet it’s one of the strangest feelings you’ll ever experience. Im not religious but I do believe that the human body is just a vessel for the soul and when we pass our soul it’s free. The freeing of a soul that’s been trapped inside a body is one of the most beautiful ways to think about death. My grandparents suffered when they were alive so to know that they will always be free and they’ll never have to feel pain again is one of the greatest joys in my life. Of course I’m sad I’ll never get to talk with them again, or them or listen to them share their stories but that’s OK I’ve excepted that because I still have all those memories. To all the people that haven’t experienced losing a grandparent I strongly advise you to call them right now and ask them to share their stories. One day you’re going towant to hear them again and it will be too late. Do it now before they’re gone.

I just lost someone who meant the absolute WORLD to me on 13th of April 2021, and their stuff is everywhere all over my house and in my car and outside and in the refrigerator….. It’s everywhere plus in my head and heart to remind me of them. Some of it’s too much BUT, most of it - I TOO, DON’T WANT TO TOUCH. I don’t want to move it away at ALLLLLL. I used to NEVER cry. Like to the point where my friends would make comments about how I don't show emotions. But the past few years have been so hard to deal with. I lost my grandma and then like a month later 3 days before Christmas my older sister passed away. Then I came really close to loosing my mom, she actually did die and was brought back with CPR. And before I could truly get over all of that my best friend of almost 10 years that I loved with all my heart got really sick and died. And at the same time the only sister I had left was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Those were the absolute darkest days of my life. Now when I hear songs like this I cry like a baby. Maybe because now I can connect with the meaning and the lyrics whereas before I couldn't.

My whole life I spent asking what she would have done in any given situation and when I abided by that...things mostly turned out. She was a beautiful soul and my most fervent wish is that everyone had a person like her in their life. By the comments, it sounds like a lot of you did. I take a kind of fierce joy in my grief, and I have to believe I will see her again. This song and your reaction Twon, gave me that fierce joy once again and I thank you. Peace and Love

I my lost my best friend recently. Grief is tough. He was like a brother. I've lost both parents and , siblings, also my husband. Grief has been a constant with me but for years being the youngest in the family. You never grow accustomed to it. It always seems different. Loved the song.❤️

I just want to jump through the screen and hug you. I feel your pain. I truly do. I, too, have been there. It’s been 11 years, and I’m still not over it. God bless you!

3 seconds into your video, I already wanted to give you a hug. This is my first time on your channel, but since I lost my mom 3½ years ago, this song makes me bawl every time I hear it. ❤

Twon…my brother died more than 2 years ago, took his own life, I couldn’t cry since, didn’t have feelings for more than 2 years, just numb. Your videos helped me to feel again, and now I feel like can cry for him, and everything else I’ve been through since then that I couldn’t allow myself to feel when they were happening. You weren’t crying alone. Thank you for your part in helping me feel again.

You are so genuine and such a beautiful person. Don't ever be ashamed to show emotion, it just shows the kind of heart you have and the kind of person you are. Trust me, you were not crying alone. ❤

These types of songs hit so hard for people who have lost someone, especially to an illness. I lost my mom 11 years ago when I was 21, after nearly 10 years in and out of the hospital. I have to be in a particular head space before I can listen to this song, because it's just so rough if you're not prepared. Thank you for posting your genuine reaction, it was very heartening to see you connect with it.
