Congrats, I crossed the pacific on a $30 million dollar airplane, so I win.

Holy Hell! Do are people so small they have no room for humor? I was laughing at the plane ride until fucktard brought in the feminine wash fun. Maybe I'm just crazy.

@Andrew Van Dellen. Thanks man. Mild, inoffensive, humor warrants being called a "douche" these days; but I handled him easily. Just pointing out the airplanes we fly in cost tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars; so using the cost of the vehicle as a marker for the greatness of an adventure is a bit misplaced. Tell me you crossed the pacific in a $500 row-boat and I'd be more impressed. Glad you got it, sorry the other guy didn't.

This video's value was the footage of a lagoon in some actual sea conditions not tied up at the dock...it confirmed to me that they way they build them (modules inserted into the hull) makes far too much creaking and clicking of these parts rubbing...would drive me nuts... at anchor brilliant - under way hire a crew fly and meet it there....
@richixxxd14 жыл бұрын
that made me sad, I mean, it's a beatiful boat but all that squeak tells the boat is cheaply manufactured and will need big repairs every crossing, do you know of any other manufacturer/brand that makes boats in this range (60') with better quality and none of the squeaking?

fancy crossing finish Huub. Can you tell us your impression about sailing a catamaran X monohull in the rough seas? Forget about the luxury on the cat. Please just consider the monohull X multihull aspect. thanks.
@HuubVlogs7 жыл бұрын
Hi Gustavo, personally I love sailing a Cat. I don't have to pack stuff away because it is going to fly from left to right, like on a monohull. There's much more space and it's more flat so you can walk and sleep better. Upwind they bang on the waves. Monohull does the same but maybe a bit less rough. Again, I think when buying a Catamaran you have to do your weather forecast a bit more careful than with a 'strongly built' monohull. If I look back at last year, passage making has been such a small time of the total trip (except the pacific crossing) that I think it's better to more carefully do a weather forecast, than buy a boat for super strong conditions while more than 90% percent you're just living in it on anchorage or cruising around. But hey, that's just my opinion. A year ago a only wanted a monohull because many people told me cats suck. Well, I disagree with them now. They're just more expensive in everything. All the best, Huub

Leggo - think you'll find that 1.16 is a half share my friend. If you look elsewhere on Yachtworld you'll see the cheapest you can get a 620 is 1.1 USD for a 2009 model so the author is correct. Happy holidays. 😎

I might be impressed if I was more inclined to blind consumerism, but somehow the 'adventure' of a blender, dishewasher, huge fridge, computers to run it all is lost on me. It was like sitting at home except it was moving and making noise all over. Now, if you crossed the Pacific on a $20,000 boat as Capt. Joshua did, that would be impressive. As a side note, I subbed because your young and learning about life, now THATS interesting to watch as you travel..
