I CUT MY HAIR OFF | 14” Chop for donation

So I decided to finally do it. I cut 14” off my hair to donate to an organization that helps kids who have lost their hair due to medical issues.

Yasss!!! I always wanted to do that when I was growing up, but my hair would never get that long. My Mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when I was 12 and after she lost her hair and had to wear wigs, I said I was going to grow mine out and donate it. But...it would never grow long enough!

I’m so sorry to hear that about your mom. That must have been really difficult for you - especially to have been so young. My heart goes out to you! I feel very lucky to be able to grow my hair so quickly so that I can help people to feel just a little bit better after they’ve lost their hair. I met someone last week who told me that she grows and cuts her hair every two years to donate! I was so inspired by her!
