The best Slipknot expirience, in my opinion, is listening each album chronologicaly, cause each have a diffrent tone and atmospheser to them, hope you will keep on :)

If you like heavy riffs, def check out self titled album. You shoud check out the song "Eyeless" , it's one of their heaviest songs in their discography and my favorite song of them in general.

Pinch harmonic: As you pick the note, the skin of your thumb immediately brushes lightly the string picking up the fake harmonic. I hold my pic so as only the end is poking through my grip. You can come up the other way and lightly graze the string with your finger too. But most of the time, pic + thumb = awesome. Don't be afraid to dig in a little. Some notes work better than others but unlike natural harmonics, you can do pinch harmonics basically anywhere. For a natural harmonic (if you don't know) lightly place your finger over chosen fret (not the space in-between, over the actual fret) without pressing the string against the fretboard, and pic the string. There are many frets that work, but a few of the easier/clearer ones are 3rd, 5th, 7th, 12th. \,,/

Pinch harmonics are pretty easy once’s you figure it out.. you wanna hold the pick in a way so that your thumb will hit the string immediately after it’s plucked to produce the harmonic

Great vid man! If you check out their self titled, I'd go for the 10th Anniversary Edition as it re-adds a song that was taken off the original and adds few extra ones. I'd end it at Get This. It's my favourite album of all time (so far anyway, I'm only 22 but still 😂). The drumming by Joey Jordison and vocals by Corey Taylor are both fucking insane! That's what really stands out to me, but all 9 members are in full force! Pure unrivalled hunger, energy, rawness and a decent amount of crazy! 😂 Hope you find a solution that works for the audio, although it's not that bad tbh, as long as you're hearing it in the best quality. Much love! :)

For Slipknot if want the more hardcore experience you should listen to like the first 3 or so albums. But if you want the more commercial Slipknot you should listen to All Hope is Gone. But when I say commercial I don't mean bad at all! I'm a Maggot through and through! I dressed up as Corey Taylor one year(spent $80 on a freaking mask), saw Slipknot in 2009, saw Stone Sour the year before, I've literally been a fan since 2004. I'm Black so all my homeboys said that I was crazy, weird, and a Devil Worshipper in 2004 when I told them that I was listening to Slipknot and Linkin Park. But oddly some of my homeboys were literally coming to me telling me rock and metal songs that they actually liked on the low lol. I had one homeboy listening to rock so much that this man was riding down the street literally bumping so Nickelback in his old school Lincoln lmao. I mean playing it loud! But I'm getting off track lol. But I've been a huge fan of Slipknot for 20 years now and they're definitely amazing. Some would day an acquired taste to some. But if you have the taste for them their amazing!!!

Slipknot, Korn and Mudvayne are the holy Triumvirate of Nu-metal for me, Disturbed, Static X, Linkin Park and probably more deserve honorable mentions. We can't forget bands like Faith no More, or even the Beastie Boys that pioneered the blend of music that led to this!
