I'm in IT, and the number of conference tables i've seen without anyone thinking about the coms and power... like i've done startups where they'll have a $250 Conference table and the AV installers are like "ok, we've got to drill a hole in this thing...." so good job on that.

I know how much power those industrial fans need and it is a lot. I'm impressed that the Delta Max did not have any problems powering that huge fan.

It's actually not a lot. That's a DeWalt DXF2490, rated for 1.46 amps or roughly 180 watts. Looks like the delta max can handle up to 2400w, so it could actually power 13 of these fans at the same time.

Seeing Jordan's nervousness about the CNC carve was really heartening. Every time I make a carve with my DIY CNC, I'm super nervous, just like that. I always feel like it's going to go wrong somehow. It's nice to see that even people who do it for their day job feel that way!

It's cause cncs do random ass stuff sometimes, the one at the cabinet shop I used to work at went outside the parameters it's able to go to and cut into the metal bar that the tool holders were mounted to and cut one of them off which it shouldn't have been able to do but it decided fuck it why not that day apparently so expensive materials are always nerve wracking
