For bubbles if it's too much for you and you have to fix it, take a mini-drill bit (1/64 for example...size to the top of the bubble) and drill straight down to the bubble. Then go in with a injection tool (like syringe with your epoxy in it) and refill the hole/bubble..hitting it with heat as normal. If everything goes right, you won't be able to see where the bubble is afterwards. Source: I'm a old Air Force 2M technician and one of our skill checks is going in under a microscope to fill a, "bubble-free" excavated space on a circuit board. We had to use dental tools and, "pick" the bubbles out though back in my day! You couldn't have a single bubble even under zoom in a microscope. It really had to be bubble free! lol

I don't understand why not just use a vacuum chamber to get the bubbles out before the pour?

If you’ve got extra blades, they might make pretty cool handles when imbedded in some epoxy to get a more comfortable handle. Maybe a serving tray🤷♂️

Ice is cloudy due to impurities.... Boiling water before turning it into ice will create clear ice. You will just get air in the ice but its clear bubbles meaning the cloudiness comes from impurities in the water.

@Theexplorographer2 жыл бұрын
4:00 Top Tip, when mixing epoxy... As you mix you will notice at first the epoxy turns almost white or gets cloudy. Keep mixing until the epoxy returns to perfectly clear. That is how you know you are done. At that point I will pour it into a new container and mix again for about a minute or two, then pour. You will have a lot less issues with bubbles and slowly drying resin.
