You should know, Indonesia is mostly Muslim, and they don't drink alcohol, so you should be prepared if it's hard to find alcohol in Indonesian restaurants. Some may provide alcohol and some may not.

because Jakarta is the capital where 87.2% of the citizens are Muslims (Islam) which forbids (Haram) alcohol/liqueur, the punishment is very severe if you sell haram drinks without proper permit, non-Muslims are a minority, of course they are willing to give up minority customers, it's not about money, we are a very religious country, But there are places where Muslims are a minority, like Bali, you can get drunk there freely

That's not true, it's easy to have a beer or alcohol in Jakarta, the problem is he asking for Bintang, Bintang is famous Indonesian beer but its the cheapest, mostly people just buy it on the store and drink it at home, not in fancy restaurant.

Every bars and cafes in Indonesia sell alcohol atleast Bintang beer. Alcohol is not restricted. U can even drink in the public. But dont try to use drugs.

Not all bars or cafes sell alcoholic drinks unless you go to certain areas in Jakarta such as Kemang, PIK, and SCBD, Jakarta is not like Europe and vice versa. If we want to go on holiday to another country, at least don't be arrogant.

@@OliBarrettTravel it was just the way you talked to the waitress with a high intonation, and it sounded very arrogant to him and it's kinda annoying. Since the way we talk to the others is a bit different, we always ask politely. And I think it's normal if you can't get a cheap drinks in a fancy place, even though the beer is right on the menu.

You should go to PIK 2, so many beach clubs there. Or SCBD with the H Club SCBD (the biggest club in Asia), and many clubs like W Superclub which have so many lightings. Or going to the mountains in Jakarta. You just don’t know the spots

Hi sir, ETLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) cameras have only been in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta since 2021, and it's in stages for the deployment of the cameras, and according to the information, the tickets are delivered to the house to pay the fine, but until now i've not seen and felt it

@@xav4_ yeah, lasted for a short while. Now everyone knows where they are, it's generally no longer effective. That's also only on major Jakarta city roads. I think it would be a good idea if the authorities increased their attention to road rules however that would mean that they too have to obey them.

There are speeding tickets issued for intercity/longer distance highway in Indonesia. Plenty of tickets were issued in Cikampek Palimanan highway....

The thing is Bintang is the cheapest beer in here cause it's local, so you have to go to the cheapest bar in town, some fancy bar sell it but mostly they sell only expensive one.

Pointnya bukan di situ sih ... di menu restonya tersedia, mereka pesan kan sesuai dengan menu yang diberikan, seharusnya kalau memang tidak ada bisa langsung secepatnya dikonfirmasi, bukan setelah menunggu 20 menit baru dikonfirmasi kalau ternyata pesanannya tidak ada. Itu pointnya mereka.

In Jakarta there's a regulation not to sell alcohol (incl.beer) in public area suach as cafe or restaurant but in several places probably in discotec or bar espc at night for people who want to spend the night life you can have even the liquor that's a little bit strange

if you want to buy bintang, try to find it in mini market like alfamart or indomart, i think i saw it in their refrigerator if im not mistaken, or before you order, make sure the restaurant have it on their menu, or makr sure they know what you want about bintang, sometimes they dont know what bintang is, coz in bali everyone know about bintang, but in another places, some maybe not know what it is, or they dont serve any alcohol on their menu, just normal drink or juice,

Untuk anda yang suka minuman seperti bir anda harus pergi ke hotel berbintang yang menyediakan bar khusus yang ada di hotel.. Berbagai minuman akan anda dapatkan seperti black label. well thats what the government is doing about the transportation, we literally on the program for connecting those public transportations and you know, it takes time. a decade ago, indonesia’s transportation and infrastructure were waaaay worse. we will see a better version of it in the future

Jakarta is a skyscrapers city,,, it has over 160 skyscrapers,, compared to London that only has around 35 skyscrapers......there are only 15 city that can be called as skyscrapers city on this earth cs they have at least 100 skyscrapers...... skyscrapers mean a building that is 150M or at least 492ft,,,,,, for example Dubai, New york, Chicago, Kuala lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Chongqing, Hongkong, Tokyo etc so yea not many cities that can be called as skyscrapers city on this earth only around 15 city and 8 cities are from China....btw of the bad sevice its actually common,, sometimes you'll find things lk that so youd better find the most common restaurant instead lk in more crowded area bt not always tho again its just your bad luck
