The genre of Rammstein? There are a couple of answers. When it came up, it was called "Neue deutsche Härte" (new German routhness/hardness). The mixture of metal and synth is called "industrial (metal)", which matches to their outfit on stage. When they were asked (some times ago), they answered, that it is "Tanzmetall" (dance metal).
