“I didn't want you to have any blood” - CONVERSATIONS WITH JEN: FT JEN'S DAD

This is the first of two special conversations I had with my parents.
If anyone knows my Dad, then you will know he is a man of very few words. So him agreeing to not only have this conversation, but share it publicly means a lot to me.
Conversations with Jen is all about increasing awareness and lessening the stigma that we face living with sickle cell. I want to ask the questions people want to know the answers too and share the experiences of people who are often not heard.
