If you want to feel slower, just play freeplay with bakkesmod and set speed to 150% for about 10 mins. Afterwards, you will feel like 100% speed is slowmo.

Completely agree with this. I was a hardstuxk Diamond 2 before I got into a cas 1v1 with a gc who told me to do slow mo free play if I wanted to hit air dribble double touches like him lol. But I did it it let me get a real feel for difficult mechanics. I literally learned how to air dribble, reverse 45 flick, and tried to perfect my kickoff in slow mo and wouldn’t have learned as quickly without it. Now I’m champ 3 in 2’a and c1 in 1’s. Slow mo is the way

I think with bakkesmod you can go above 100%, then it will really feel like slowmo in a real game

Read Beforehand: PLEASE DON'T VIEW THIS COMMENT AS ME SHITTING ON YOU AND YOUR VIDEO. It is clear you put effort into this video and developing this routine but it may not apply to everyone the same. Great video and quality of channel. Some people of varying playstyles than the one shown in this video might not want to try this warm-up routine: 1. Wayton's video showed that playing fast (combination of boost management, average time at supersonic, and average reaction time to a given play as well as the recovery from it) helps you rank up as an overall well-rounded player in many aspects. While having good ball control is needed, the players like pros with the best ball control don't need to go slow to use it, partly because they aren't trying to go for cool freestyles every time they can. While aggressive/passive playstyles can differ from player to player, playing slow and controlled (especially when trying to get a perfect setup for a freestyle) can often lead to playing passive in situations that where you will get dunked on and/or the ball will go in your net one way or another if you allow the consequentially speedier opponent adequate time. 2. Doing whatever in freeplay, even if more controlled and percise at slow speeds, is not a proper way to warm up. It is a great way to mindlessly practice freestyles over and over again, but if your goal is ranking up, you're going to want to have a more well-rounded playstyle than just mechanics. Many specific types of training (e.g. freeplay vs. Lethamyr's Rings vs. training packs vs. other workshop maps) focus on improving one key element of gameplay (e.g. car control vs. ball control vs. shooting), and in order to rank up, you need to be ready to handle any given situation in game using those elements. So naturally, a combination of a lot of those different types of training would result in a very fundamentally solid game because you would be fulent in those aspects anywhere on the field at any time. Not to mention unlimited boost combined with going for freestyles in freeplay doesn't help maximize your boost management when put in that situation in-game. 3. Changing game speed in freeplay (which can be done in training packs too btw) is not some new groundbreaking feature, as it has been out for a while and sighted by many pros and content creators, including Wayton himself, as being a good way to actually INCREASE speed, and not decrease. TLDR: - I yap a lot (duh) - If you are a freestyler this routine might work well for you - If you are not a freestyler, you should think about reconsidering the strategies shown in this video. Take the time to develop your own training/warmup routine soley based off your strengths, weaknesses, and overall playstyle if needed - Don't play slow if you want to rank up with a well-rounded playstyle and remember there is a difference between passive and slow. Examples: Aggressive + Fast: Some pro/high level players/teams (Furia, Nwpo) Aggressive + Slow: Average Diamond 2 ballchaser Passive + Fast: Some pro/high level players/teams: (Gentle Mates, ApparentlyJack) Passive + Slow: Freestylers of way more mechanical skill than me

Ur wrong, let me explain: Your opponent’s brain is thinking slow, his car control is out of control. Your brain is thinking fast and your car is very controllable because it feels slower. Would you or your opponent win? Answer: You, because your in control and your thinking faster. That’s what my training routine is doing: it’s training your mind to think faster and your car to feel slower (which increases car control)

I think @X_AstroRL might have a point. Squishy noted that Yan warmed up almost exclusively on slow-mo while he was on LAN. Now I can't say that's his only warm-up routine, but is it completely bonkers that it could used to warm up here and there?

I have a problem with this.. no hate or anything but if you FEEL like you’re in slow mo wouldn’t you just do stuff slower cuz normally you are slower and you’re used to that?
@X_AstroRL18 күн бұрын
this is going to take some time to explain... If you feel like you are in slow mo, specifically your brain feels like you are in slow mo, you make slight adjustments that you wouldn't have the "time" to do in real speed, but sense you feel like you are in slow mo, you do make those slight adjustments, all the while you are in real speed. Really think about the words I said, if you don't quite understand yet, it's okay. Wayton Pilkin couldn't even wrap his head around this. Just for your info though, Keloxity and many others did understand this.
