Hi there i really like your videos, it’s nice to see new ideas. I am interested in the asian foods, and i see others putting cornstarch not only to the meat, but to the soy mix you pour in at the end too. Wouldn’t be a thicker sauce better for example to the first chiken&broccoli dish? Im asking because i want to know, im not here to be a keyboardwarrior

Hi! 😊 Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and exploring Asian cooking-it’s such a fun and delicious journey! About your question: Yes, adding cornstarch to the soy sauce mix can definitely create a thicker and glossier sauce, which some people prefer, especially for dishes like chicken and broccoli. This technique is called making a "slurry," where you mix cornstarch with water or broth before adding it to the sauce. In the recipe you mentioned, I kept the sauce lighter for a fresher taste, but thickening it can be a great option if you like your dish more saucy and rich. It’s all about personal preference, and both methods work wonderfully. Feel free to experiment-you might discover a version you love even more! Thanks again for your thoughtful question. Let me know if you try it, and happy cooking! 🥢✨
