84Actionjack not trying to speak out of turn, but I helped my friend build with the 2950 TR (I think that’s the model number😂). He put the Kraken cooler on it and it’s stable. Normally, I’d just do a small amount of thermal paste on the IHS, but we spread the paste on the cold plate of the Kracken per Gamers Nexus’ recommendation.

@kamikaze000075 жыл бұрын
Intel, AMD, as long as it gets the job done if you have any of the two, doesn't really matter IMO. I'm more curious about how AIO coolers actually last when it comes to eventual leakage or precipitation and if it's really worth it compared to a good air cooler for long-term (meaning years) gaming PC use.

well, it is a gaming PC, and games nowadays don't even use more than 6c 12t efficiently anyway. So yea, TR seems a bit dumb for a "gaming PC". 9900KS will do just fine, but that CPU hogs A TON of power and is pointlessly hot (not in a good way). so yeah, why not use 3600 or 3700x?
