I bought this case the moment I started seeing videos on it. Just moved my PC over last night and man this thing looks good. I have two NZXT Aer fans in the front, and the mesh handles light really well. Such a better case than my previous one (P400S).

To me, this looks like a Define C with a different front and without the sound dampening (which accounts for the light feel). The interior looks very similar if not identical (i.e. removable 3.5" Drive bays, the three 2.5" bays behind the Motherboard etc.) although i do not think that is bad in any way - the Define C is a very nice case as it is but the new front brings some fresh wind into it, which is nice.

I was able to fit a 240 in the roof (deepcool 240ex) using asus strix z370-f and trident z rgb memory. Its designed in a way where memory height should not be an issue unless it is flared out/weird design for the heatsinks, my ram could be much taller and it would still clear. Really really well designed case by fractal, my only complaint is the front panel it should come off fully and it should have a proper dust filter rather than this foam stuff.

Not with fans in front too. Check the length of the Strix on the mfg website and then compare it to the 315mm clearance allowed with fans only.

What would be awesome to see tested: - If you overclock the 56, how similar does it perform to the 64 air - If you overclock the 64 air, how similar does it perform to the 64 liquid Very curious to see if they are indeed hardware similar and if the 64 liquid has better binning. Also, as Vega is a little power hungry, how does it perform with undervolting? Power usage vs. performance

In my humle opinion they're nowadays trying a little too hard to shrink the dimensions of their cases. If the case was wide enough to sport a 140mm rear exhaust, there would also be a bit more room for radiators in the top.

To me this is a downstep in relation to their marvel define R5/S. They were true beauties with very good acustics. Btw this trend of not having optical disks anymore is a little bit limiting, but if the market is going for it... The mesh is a clear nvidia related theme, does not feel as clean and minimalistic as the later iterations not horrible, just not as nice as before. The tempered glass looks with the anti vibration pads looks genuinely nice. The I/Os i would like to see more options, interchangeable mods for usb 3 or 3.1 and possibility of interchangeable Headphone and microphone jacks for the bigger one too which a forgot the the size type And possibility of hdmi port for VR. The power button and reset felt a little off on the design language matter. I wonder if a full or almost full top mesh would look nicer, since this case is not meant to be silent. Nice review! Thx!

Another relative small case of Fractal, disappointing. We need a new large and silent case with good cooling. Maybe a R5 with only 1 drive bay for 2 drives and a few small upgrades (better dust filtering).
@crzces75007 жыл бұрын
Nice vid, really like the case except, like many others, that is one ugly front panel. Honestly, I was expecting far more aesthetically for the $120+ usd. Besides the dust filters it is very "un-messy". Hmm, maybe I don't really like the case. I like the interior and top (though it's too small for a larger rad, a "Meshify" seems like it should be air cooled with a silly amount of natural airflow, less exterior metal... just the name gives me ideas for inexpensive custom case builds though.

I feel like the aging process itself is more like the ship of theseus paradox - every cell in your body gets replaced eventually overtime, so are you the same "body" at 30 as you were at 13? The transporter is more a digital copy of you being recreated where as the previous "you" has been vaporized and now dead lol
