@@tactops1 Great timing, I just took these off for the Winter after 6500 miles. Tread depth is at 6-7/32 on the rear, 7/32 on the front. Wearing very evenly so far. Seems like it should be a 25-30k tire for me. No different than the Michelins they replaced! I’m happy.

@@fiehlsport So you spend half as much as a name brand, but they last half as long. LOL

Just paid $638 ( 40% off sale ) for a set of 4 through Amazon for Model Y. Glad to see some more video content on the Sailuns.

Great deal! That's much less than most tire shops are selling them for. Enjoy & thanks for watching

Thanks. I had them installed yesterday and they seem to be great after my initial 2 miles drive home. LOL. I’ll add an update after a couple thousand miles. I had 34k on the Michelins that came with the MYP. Great video! Thank you.

@@scottmiller6022 nice! Hopefully you can match that mileage on the Sailuns. For the price they’re hard to ignore.

Small problem - curious to hear your thoughts. I had them installed last week and then took a 1000 road trip and there’s a sound/resonance at 67 MPH. I took it back to the shop that installed them and they told me to put some more miles on them and it might clear up. What do you think? Thank you!

That’s what I bought for my 2021 MY, got a good deal from Amazon, had them installed and balanced for about 80 bucks. Not bad at all.

Nice, great deal on install too.

If I pronounced them as "Cylon tires" I'm pretty sure the colonial fleet from Battlestar Galactica would be after me

Great video - wish I had that equipment at home! I also have a MYP and these tires caught my eye as a replacement for them OEM pirellis. Do you still recommend them?
@fiehlsport5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes, I have about 3000 miles on them now and they are still great for cruising around. I don't mind hitting corners a little harder knowing how inexpensive the tires were. :-) But the car is definitely a bit more "squishy" in corners - the steering sharpness isn't what it was on the old Michelins. You will notice a difference vs. the Pirellis for sure.

I’d love to hear an update.

I’m at 5000mi now Scott - front tires are at 8/32 and rears are at 6-7/32. Wearing about the same as my old Michelins did. Road noise improved a little since new, but is still slightly more than the Michelins with a bit of resonance around 45-60mph.

Range affected much?
@fiehlsport2 ай бұрын
The range compared to the 21” Michelins has been pretty much the same. Avg Efficiency didn’t change. Really happy with it.
