I'm blessed to have a post office that has a 24 hour kiosk where I can print my labels at the end of the day and drop the packages off whenever. I just scan it and drop them into a shoot. It's definitely convenient, I haven't seen anything like it and other location.

Glad you’re on the mend. The way you described the fatigue is how I feel nearly every day. I have Lupus, fibromyalgia, and now heart & kidney issues from the lupus. It’s so mentally frustrating when I want to be productive but physically can’t get out of bed. I have adapted to list in bed. But some days I physically can’t even stay awake (conscious) for more than a few minutes at a time. I miss being productive. I miss not having to depend on my husband and son for everything, even meals. Sigh. It’s been an extra rough time since Hurricane Ian. Trying to give myself Grace.

You shouldn't feel bad about not shipping an item when you are not feeling well. Think of it this way, if you were running a fever, it means you are contagious. If you had shipped a plush item, you could also have shipped the bug that was making you ill. Viruses and Bacterial infections are robust and a plush item is a perfect means of transportation. You have actually done the right thing without even knowing it. Hope you feel much better very soon.

I'm sorry that's how you and your family spent the New Year. I'm glad you guys are feeling better. I feel your pain. Had to get get my car towed on New Year's Eve day, bc it seemed like my transmission went and had get it towed to my house bc all the shops were closed. My boyfriend and I have both been sick too with body aches and fevers and coughs etc too. Then today I had to tow my car to a shop and had to rent a car. On a good note, the tow guy saw that my CV Axle snapped so that's probably the issue with the car which is much cheaper.

We had family things 3 days in a row. By the time we got home on Friday. I went to bed. I had one item to ship. Should of ran to post office. But it was a $5 item and I didn't want to use the gas for a $5 item. I took the hit. But then I can't ship it till Tuesday so I printed up yesterday. Doubt it makes a difference. With the DVD when it sounds like a piece of plastic and the DVD discs are moving inside then it's most likely a piece of the center that holds the DVD that broke off. So even if you get it to click back in it won't hold it. Plus, a lose disc is most likely scratched. Just open it, watch it and sell as used. Sometimes they have an advert card inside that sounds like a lose disc too.

Unfortunately if you just print the label, it will not register in the ebay system as officially shipped! You would have to print out the label and scan it at a self service kiosk at USPS (before midnight) to get it to officially work and not get a late shipment ding on your account.

That’s exactly what I do to buyers. If they’re looking for too much information on an item, they’re looking to return it or to get some sort of partial refund. If they needed that much information on the item that they wanted, they should’ve researched it ..they would’ve known how everything worked. You did the right thing by blocking them.

Being sick on vacation days sucks but you know what they say, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans." I feel for Tina but as the mom, it's better to get sick after everyone's getting better than to be sick with them and have to take care of them while you feel like death (been there, done that, have 20 old t-shirts). As for the shipping, I printed labels when things sold while I had my store on vacation mode...I just chose the date they'd actually ship when I printed the label. I've had sellers print the label and the item not show up at the post office for 3 days so I know folks are printing before they intend to ship 😉 Love when Callie helps you...daddy-daughter time, no matter what you're doing is very important and she's learning the business too 😁

Printing the label doesn’t really help sadly. I had a customer who ordered a bunch of items and was still thinking about buying more over the weekend so I waited to actually ship everything in case I needed to combine more items for shipping. The label was printed but I still lost top seller because that one order had so many items it reduced my scan by shipping carrier time frame. One order won’t matter though unless it’s a ton of items for a smaller store like mine. 🤷‍♂️

I'd be afraid of shipping to an address other than the one the buyer has registered with eBay because if anything goes wrong eBay doesn't have to help you at all because you didn't ship to the buyer's registered address.

If eBay does not allow you to change the shipping address, why is there an edit button to change it before you purchase the shipping label. As long as the buyer's request to change the address is documented in eBay's message system, it's permitted and protected. I do it all the time with no problems.

I just tried changing the address for one of my buyers and eBay says that doing so "may not protect the seller". It doesn't say it won't at all and definitely doesn't say it won't if the buyer claims it was never delivered. Even when the tracking shows that a package has been delivered, I've had buyers claim that it wasn't. Nothing is stopping them from doing that. If eBay doesn't want sellers changing the address for any reason, the option to edit it wouldn't be available. If the seller changes they may not be protected, but they will be protected if it's documented that the buyer requested the address change. What can the buyer say or do if the seller does what was requested??

I've done the same thing because those types of folks also tend to be the type to leave negative feedback if you don't respond to their barrage of questions or if they have problems with the item due to operator error. Everyone has access to the internet and if they want to know how something works there are usually reviews and/or youtube videos that give detailed info on how to use most things 😉
