By GOD’s help I’m coming out of laziness and it starts by you being honest with Jesus about it. Then applying His Word in practical ways like instead of praying lying down - walk around or putting yourself on a schedule and sticking to it. If you mess up don’t beat yourself up, repent and try again! There is hope and our hope is in Jesus ♥️ this life He gave us is too beautiful to waste being in our beds all day - it’s time to wake up! Jesus did His part, He will help you do yours only if you let Him in 🙏🏾

I don't want to give up, but I feel burnt out and existing feels tiring. Ever since our family business burnt down a few months ago, I've been helping my parents recover from all the losses. My dad, mom and I are all working more than 80 hours a week. That's 7 days straight, Sunday afternoon being our "rest day". All those years they put in to have some stability in life and be able to provide for our daily needs, all burnt down into ashes. They're not getting any younger and they're back at square one. And I have toddler sibling that they need to raise and send to school eventually. I dont know how long it will take for us as a family to have some stability again. I feel like breaking down every single day, but I can't give up because they need my help. I hate that I'm a woman in my early 20's, and I feel like I just want to simply not exist anymore. I feel like Sisyphus pushing that big boulder up a hill only to watch it roll back down and push it up again for all eternity. Life feels absurd. I'm tired but I have no choice but to keep going. I'm tired but my parents are getting older and they're also tired. Please pray for us.
@DarrenClogher2 ай бұрын
I know what you mean when you say existing feels tiring. I felt that way for many years, starting around the same time as you. It was a different circumstance for me, not too much work, but no connection, no path forward, meaninglessness, the weight and fear of existence on my mind all day everyday. But all it takes to overcome this, is to be with people you love. Love, when you build it, lifts everyone up, not just you or the other(s) involved. I think if you can find time to connect at the end of a hard day, there will be a reward and a reminder of why what you are doing is important. This, in time, I think, will lead to hope, and bring ease and peace of mind. But it will take time. Just a hug can be enough. Try and find the time to give your spirit rest in the love of your family and maybe God too if you think that would help. It has certainly helped me, and having found someone I can be honest with, just one person, has made all the difference. Stay strong and keep faith in each other and Christ. I'll be wishing you the best and will say a prayer for you and your family.

Hi, there. You ARE helping ur parents. I pray that someone with business knowledge or someone who can help alleviate your burdens/help solve them will come your way in Jesus’ name. I recommend seeking (while praying ❤️) those knowledgeable in business or who faced similar hurdles and have succeeded. He will lead someone to you and vice versa. This looks to me like a repetitive cycle where nothing changes to reward your efforts. You are tilling and watering the soil but you can’t enjoy a harvest and I feel like that warrants a change. Seek it from a mentor or teacher who can teach you how to overcome this. With Jesus, I have faith that you will find them. ❤ Otherwise, if you don’t wish to be involved in this business, pray that your family may have the courage to let go of that which does more harm then good. If it’s not possible, again pray. Pray that God may give you a solution. You ARE strong and capable. God doesn’t put us in situations we cannot overcome with His blessings. ❤ I pray that this helps, I am not an expert but just trying to help however I can. 🙏

You cannot have the capacity to love other people until you love our God the father through Jesus christ our lord with all your will and strength. Only by relying solely on christ and submitting your will to christ will you have the capacity to love others in God's way not your way. God is not an afterthought, a last resort to go to when you need him. Go to christ first for everything. He is everything because of what Jesus christ did on the cross. Really reflect on the pain and suffering he felt to bear all of our sins. Reflect on the divine gift of mercy and grace. Stop turning to others first it will cause you suffering. God bless.@@DarrenClogher

@here5143 ай бұрын
Hi I understand where you are coming from. We have all been there. But the beauty of Jesus is that we don’t have to be good enough. He was good enough for us. I mean that, we will never be good enough to be worthy of Him. It is only by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross that we were made perfect, whole and enough. Because of Him, only by having faith (not works) in Jesus Christ as Lord that we can be saved and be near Him (Ephesians 2:8-9). So I encourage you to come and submit yourself to Jesus as Lord in prayer and in Life. After that, i recommend reading hebrews 4:14-16. It is very encouraging, especially when you’re feeling this way. ❤

It may be easy to say I am not good enough we as believers struggle with that on a daily, But Let us look on what the Bible says Look at Psalms Chapther 40: 16, Saying, " Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.", Now the fact that you want to follow him shows your sincereity, Look at Matthew 11:28-30, Trust in Jesus.He will lead you Amen!

To anyone who is looking to know the exact Bible verses, they are a little mixed up and taken from different books. The video starts with Proverbs 13:4 ESV “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.” It ends with Acts 17:21 ESV “Now all the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there would spend their time in nothing except telling or hearing something new.” Hope that helped!

Thank you for this. I've been struggling with laziness as I've also just come out of depression and is still trying to recover. I want to study everyday so I can pass my licensure exam, find a good job, work out and be a productive member of society for the Lord, but I admit it's very hard. Sometimes I'm productive, other days I feel so tired and pessimistic. I fail a lot, but I want to share some tips thay have at least helped me do something everyday: 1) Get up early & set your alarm to a sound or song that gives you a good feeling (i.e. Good Morning from the movie Singing in the Rain) instead of just blaring sounds. You can wake up around 6 am or 7 am latest since that's when the sun is shining brightest in the first hours of morning. 2) If working out is a bit too hard in the morning, at least do a full body stretch right after you wake up. Do it even if you're still sleepy and with your eyes closed. By the time you finish stretching you'll find yourself very much awake. 3) Set-up a simple and flexible routine that you can follow everyday. For work hours, I suggest 1hr and 30 mins of work then 15-30 mins of rest. Don't use social media during breaks. Just breathe and relax doing nothing, or do some easy chores (wash dishes, sweep the floor), or just stare out to the window, or prepare some snacks for yourself. 4) Have a morning and night planning and assessment. For morning, plan what you will do for the day while you eat breakfast and recall what you accomplished yesterday and your backlogs. For evening, assess what you accomplished that day, your pitfalls, your reflections and how to do better, then plan what you'll do for tomorrow. 5) only use social media in the evening after finishing your work for the day. 6) pray and read the Bible before sleeping and sleep early. Latest you could sleep is 11:00 pm. Don't beat yourself up if you fail. Always tell yourself that as long as the sun shines on you tomorrow, you can try and do better again with Jesus' help. God bless you all!

❤ I love that the word is used as motivation for something that plagues us, laziness! Nonetheless, there are no books, chapters or verse number accompanied with the scripture. We must give credit to who is due and also so that when we are not on this video we can refer back to these verses in the bible. If the verse is in Proverbs inform us where. If in Ecclesiastes cite it please. This is just a call to attention from a sister that loves you guys very much!😊😊❤

I want to work, but I feel trapped. There's not too many things that interest me, and what's available sounds miserable (like retail, fast food, warehouse, and normal 9-5 jobs). I just wish I had passion for something, but it all seems dull
@GrGal2 ай бұрын
You need to work man, not for a passion or for interesting experience, you need to work for your own soul, something which can be more difficult to see when you either have to work to survive or on the contrary, when you have the privilege not to work at all. It is not the workplace which is important, it is the taking part in the doing, which a workplace fulfills. It is actually very important not to put the workplace itself on a pedestal because obviously it’s a “good” way to loose your heart but also more practically to this fallen world - everyone gets old and retires eventually. However, to be young and out of work for no good reason? Your mind won’t have the strong training to maintain taking part in a doing. If you can’t find a job or a profession to study with motivation, start by rolling into something easy around your place, personally I would advise you to look into something physical, yes! It will be harder on your body but easier on your mind, will also give you a good night sleep. It will also make you far, far tougher and rugged than the average office job, and you will be surrounded by the same boys, which will make you even tougher. It takes time though, you need to swallow it for some time at first before you get into the rhythm… Warehouse can be a good place for immediate start, and if you are fine with that kind of labor after time, you might find yourself rolling to one of the trades, like being a plumber, carpenter, electrician if you willing to combine more study, truck driver who also load/unload, technician at some service where you get the required training for the specific job, millwright, welder, a cook/chef, construction builder, handyman, maybe even an auto/diesel mechanic! I also advice strongly to get yourself familiar with the basic heavy lifts - squat, deadlift and military press. It will help you tremendously with keeping yourself safe at work. If you have no background at all with heavy lifting, you can take for yourself a half a year from now to practice it until you get well familiar with its core technique, meantime hop into something very random and local which doesn’t expect you to stay for long anyway - like a desk job at shops/hotels/companies. You might find it interesting how the Benedictine monks see the importance of work, specifically manual labor type, of course alongside praying - Ora et Labora (pray and work)! Maybe you can incorporate something from them into your own path, I did and i’m not Catholic. At the end, the bottom line is always our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ 🙏🏻❤️

Work is what the Lord calls you to do. He may not call everyone to a 9-5 job, working for man...Work is work, whether you are working for man, working for the Lord, working for the family and raising kids right, like being a mom, etc.. He knows you, your desires, and your gifts. His perfect will for you will align with those things. I'm praying God's will be done in your life! Proverbs 3:6 In ALL thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

It's hard to remember that you're working for yourself and being a diligent worker for God. Between managers, coworkers and all of that earthly jazz, it's hard to remember our true calling... but I want to tell you all something as a reminder, yes this motivation is great the the Word is the Truth, because he is the Word. Undeniably..just don't convict yourself too harsly over one chapter, verse or book from the Bible..Remember it's a collection of books across hundreds of years. Don't forget about all the other lessons and don't tunnel vision over one reading that convicts you..
