Great riding, but yea that bike is not great. I can see the welds are horrible. The loose wheel might be your mistake, it can happen, but keep in mind with rapid temp changes like getting warmer things can get loose, but the steel parts shirnk faster tha alu. But if its steel on steel alu on aly it will most likely stay out for longer. But axle should be tight, a regular tru axle should be at about 10nm, atleast that's what it says on for my bike, 9-12nm on my fork. So that's quite hard, so turn until it stops, with regular sizes spanners. And tru axles use hex key thos long ones from parktool makes it easy to tighten properly, but on steel axle with nuts regular sized spanner does the job well. But if the hubs had play in Cup and cone, you might have tightened the bike but once that worked it self loose wheel got loose, so check that on bike slike this, and expect it to not be assembled correctly or tightened securely.

Also you could try grinding out the rear dropout in more to shorted the wheel base too. I done it my BMX crusier and getting my rear wheel more forward in the dropout dose help alot with pumping and Manueling through a pump section of the track. the reason why a half-link so good is you can remove a 1/2 link instead of the old full lenght way of doing it.

I asked one of the brands to show me some exploded view diagrams and they won't do it. I asked about the internals and if they are cartridges or machined stanchions and pistons. No response. Occams Razor applies for items at that price point. RST renegade is at the same price point of $120. Their customer service told me both damper and air spring are cartridges and free to replace with serial number and if the item is still under warranty. Hacksaw vs pipe cutter... I don't know man... Use some penetrating oil before you ride the bike on everything. You could have also used a heat gun on the BB area on the frame. Your part choices really has me question a lot of things. Couldn't you also use a chain tensioner on the chain itself? Like something that comes integrates with a bashguard like some ISCG 05. Did you check spoke tension on those wheels? ALX had some wacky spokes and I had to stress and retension them. Wheel is weird because the non-drive side did not have the alignment piece and the torque shifts the wheel out of alignment. Even with the integrated chain guide bashguard, the chain might not be the perfect length which requires sliding the wheel rearward.
