That's the question I asked myself when I was struggling with loving myself and seeing the value and beauty within myself.
I've changed the name of the podcast because I have work to do. I have a whole person to be and become and I'm afraid. I'm afraid of rejection and falling into oblivion, but what I want more than anything else is to be at home with myself and love myself well.
I have no idea what I'm doing and I LOVE that.

Your voice is so soothing!! We will figure it out together. At 45 or so I decided to resign from the VA as a Registered nurse because the pandemic had worn me out. Now at 47, trying to get back into healthcare and believe it or not it’s not as easy as it used to be. Rejection after rejection denial after denial. And now it’s getting a little scary. As I draw from my retirement and get penalized every time. Sigh. It’s also been freeing to sleep late, to go to jazz festivals, to walk and exercise, to volunteer (I love it) but also I know I need to get back to work. Sigh. So I hear you. I see you. I validate you. ❤❤

I totally get it and can relate. There is no other title that is more freeing than our own name. For many years I went by a shorter version of my first name for several reasons, but after a while I realized that that represented only a fraction of me. But my whole name represents my past, my present and my future and everything that comes with it. I now show up as Lakeia and all of the beautiful things without limits.
