I try my darnedest not to either, it’s common for it to happen being in the refer industry, the company is always trying but I won’t do it, unless there is an exception in which it’s a short hop to where I can take a 34 then maybe…. I despise chasing hours, it’s really hard to make plans, everything tightens up with very little wiggle room to stop for a bite or a shower and so on. On the flip side of that, I have never seen anywhere in the rules where it’s says it’s legal or illegal to do so, in my opinion, that invites an officer to have an opening for writing up some shady stuff. You be safe out there, that was some great content on running those hours, nice job !!

Sure seems legit for DOT to “find” errors with a log with recaps. They only serve the company we work for, not us.
