I question if juniper really knew what he was getting into. Like, plot wise it mostly seemed like he was egoistic, rather than a megalomaniac. He seemed like he only wanted people to bow to his whims for the sake of feeding his ego. I don't quite get why he thought he had more power than an evil corporation, or could outsmart an engineer who was capable of making a mask that could flawlessly replicate a person's voice, mannerisms, and features. That's a level of ability which would have me wary always. Guess he was more the looks than the brains.

I expect you to die 2 is DRASTICALLY better than the first. Its more interactive, the plot is way better and the gameplay is more interactive (Homing missiles, timing gas knights, pretending to be… I forgot her name.) and the first mission. THE FIRST MISSION IS A MASTERPIECE. The process of doing something when someone says something is so fascinating, this vr game is almost perfect. Also R.I.P Agent Phoenix

The “I’ll be in touch” before the elevator goes hurtling down the shaft seems to also reference the first game when… whoever was on the death engine I don’t remember says something along the lines of “I’ll be in touch later, agent.” So… take it as you will. I also feel like the devs are going to make the sequel not feature anything other people have theorised just to screw with the fan base, lol.

I played the first and this one but I still wanted to watch someone else play it again. What a masterfully made game in every aspect. The atmosphere, the immersion, the voice acting everything makes you feel like agent phoenix. So, whose predictions came true? Mine didn't. At all, really. While yes Juniper was an interloping force, he wasn't really neutral about it. I thought the point of calling the president dude grandfatherly would be to say that his child would be put in harms way, and it would implicate the other empires. What few predictions I did make properly were not very important. I knew that masks were going to be important, just not that JJ was going to be the con artist of the century, and that JJ never really cared about the evil or good itself, moreso just the fame that came from it. He truly ended up being his very own Prince Prospero, faced against the possibility of Death, his own hubris led to his own downfall. A man who thought the world over could perish, for he was going to be locked away in his own little abbey, scoffing at the world. I was correct about him unveiling or trying to unveil our "mask", but not in the way I thought. I thought he was trying to doxx us, not so much that he found out incidentally because we stole a plane from him, and just telling Zor completely.

Ima start a fan fic here instead of you alone another agent is coming with you and when you confront John for the last time the other agent who got up the building by scaling the side of the building, jumps to John then knocks him down, then takes his pistol and then shoots him and says "Disarm it!" before throwing the case to Phoenix when Phoenix disarms the nukes he says "You traded your life for so many more thank you Phoenix..." at the end " We lost someone very important today but... the phoenix will rise again, lets keep an eye out ok?"

In the last episode there was a hole in the laser-cage above you that matched the screwdriver and was probably a red-herring booby trap, but I was dying of curiosity. This time I feel like you can grab the napalm grenade to prevent it from detonation.
