I do 72 hour and 5 day fasts. The hardest part when I was new to fasting, was the first 72 hours. Where I experienced headaches and a mental obsession with food, thinking about it every second. But after a few days, the headache goes away, and you actually feel energized and healthy which is shocking. Now I find that I don't get headaches or food obsession anymore, I'm pretty used to it and it's like second nature. It's also a great feeling knowing you did something extremely difficult few people could do.
