David Bown I dated a girl from India for awhile once. People in India working for American companies are crushing it. She told me that in Bangalore, she had a cook, a maid and a driver. Basically had to do nothing for herself but show up to work and grind away. Of course that also means that there’s people making like $10/day basically in service to the professional class.
@mohitnikumbh5934 жыл бұрын
@@hornetguy9063 True. Unfortunately, the economic polarity is very extreme in India. Minimum wage workers get 5-7$ a day.
@hornetguy90634 жыл бұрын
@@mohitnikumbh593 Yeah it strikes me as not good if you have people working in the service of the upper middle class. Like I'm decidedly upper middle class and there's absolutely no way I'd afford all of that in America. Even without minimum wage laws, no one would work for cheap enough to pay like that. That's a good thing.

I guy at work got a 2003 silverado for 6k. Over paid for it. Now he wants to sell it and buy a 2009 silverado with debt. I asked him what his future looks like and he said "I'll work till I die". I made a promise to myself long ago that I'd be a multi millionaire. I'm sad to see people living in such a country with unlimited potential and they work for minimum wage for 30 years.

Happened to me. Out of the blue (how benevolent of him!) my boss decided to give me a 12% raise. He then said it would put me in a higher tax bracket and I would actually be taking home less money. Maybe he should let me do my own taxes.

Don’t be stupid people. Get an old cheap car, earn up to get a cheap car that’s maybe 4 years old reliable buy it the day of and never have to worry about anything as stupid as a car payment. Every dollar that you have that you’re not wasting on a car can be used to make you more money from investing or buying things that will make you money instead of losing it.
