@@TechGrubTV We cant fight sin, we flee from it. I’ll explain in a Christian context so you can understand. For example; Lust occurs by what we see and touch. So when we see something that is alluring to lust, as human beings we think we can fight it by saying “Im stronger than these temptations” so what people do normally is to restrain their desires and want through imaginative pride which then retains that memory of the Lust in a part of our brain 🧠 and that little part of lust “nak*d men or women etc”. triggers when we become complacent in our minds such as when going to sleep or relaxing or scrolling to the internet piling up more of those undesirable images. Its a losing battle to fight sin, so when God helps us he wants us to flee. For example; when we encounter something that potentially will retain such dirty images, we turn to God and those images are no longer retained and our trust in God deepens and the more we rely on God the stronger we are against the temptations that come our way but as I said, pride will be our greatest struggle because it leads us away from seeking God.

That sexual tension have to be relieved. Find and write down every scripture on sexual immorality and body being the temple of God and meditate on that every day and night, so when the tempter comes )he comes in cycles), you are war ready to tell him what the word says. 🔥 You got this! 🤞💪,

As a Christian who struggled with lust also I know how difficult it is. Christian men go through a lot especially single men. It's tough being a man and celibate. It takes an insane amount of discipline but it gets easier as we feed the Spirit more than the flesh. God always reward those who are obedient. You're breaking a strong hold in your life, you'll be rewarded.🙏😎👍

Consecrate yourself to the Lord. Job 31:1-10 And know that God has given you victory over every temptation. 1cor 10:13

@@JanelKLauren Have stumbled a lot with porn and lust even adultery myself! It was NOT an easy journey. I have wept as a grown man begging for God to deliver me from that generational curse. HE came through finally but HE had to chastise me with a very painful rod. I almost lost my job and at one time, my only son also became so sick that at the time I felt like huge scales fell from my spiritual eyes! I had amazing dreams at the time and some were utterly terrifying that when that season was over? I was like tough meat hard boiled in a pot for a day! Tenderized through and through. Like a vessel ready to be molded. I would not recommend anyone let God chastise them though. Even if HE does it to those HE loves. IT IS NOT PRETTY! However I am FOREVER GRATEFUL that HE took the time to love and chastise me that way to give me perspective of the life HE needed me to live. My relationship with my wife improved and I blocked all contacts I did not need to talk to (better to cut one arm off and enter paradise than go to hell with both arms - wisdom from the teacher HIMSELF). Thank you for sharing this and it will not go in vain. We are all a work in progress of the Holy Spirit's hand. Vessels that only need to be ready to be molded. Hearts that only need to be soft and ears that hear and keep the WORD in our hearts that we may not sin. Keep going! IT IS NOT EASY, but with GOD? EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Public transparency can also be used to increase engagement, grow your channel and monetize your audience. Often times "vulnerability" is championed in religious communities. Posting click bait titles like this are used for virtue signaling, increased engagement and public celebration like your comment here. That's wrong though. Salvation is given to you the moment you believed the testimony of the Father that He sent Jesus His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Read 1 Cor 1-4 to be enlightened. The problem with your term "continually seeking God " is that you're not assured your saved. You're still focusing on the "continuation" to serve God or as you say to "seek" God. God doesn't take away salvation specifically on this new testament because He gave it as a GIFT. You don't take away the candy you gave to your kids on Christmas just because they disobeyed you. A gift is a gift. He is faithful. Example, will God take away salvation because you watched porn? And then you repent so He give it back again? And then next day you watched again so He'll take it back again? Wrong! We are saved by grace through faith and not works. You do GOOD BECAUSE YOU'RE SAVED, NOT BECAUSE YOU'RE TRYING TO BE SAVED. Stop the poor arriculations. You need to be concise and straight to the core idea when explaning salvation. Not with the cliches. Old Testament and NEW T aren't the same. Learn to separate them to reconcile the verses that seems to be contradicting but not. LEARN TO PROPERLY DIVIDE the Bible so you don't confuse because the differences are there. OLD T AND NEW T aren't same but they compliment each other

I was struggling with lust and porn almost my whole life. So for many many years I had ups and downs as a christian, so I know what you and people are talking about. The moments when you feel strong in the Lord, its no problem to skip it. Its about the moments when its quiet and your thoughts are going back to lust or pornography thoughts, what you saw or did in the past. THOSE moments are crucial and you NEED to fight and RUN from those thoughts by praying and crying out to the Lord for help. Dont just go into the fantasies in your thoughts or keep it there and move on. You have to fight them with the Word of God, by praying and give the Holy Spirit the room to work. Jesus is the beginning and the end, so HE can also end this spirit of lust in your life. Believe in HIM, do your part and HE will set you free. 🙏🏽💯 God bless!

Sex and lust are hard topics for the Christian to admit to. There’s no clear cut formula on how to deal with it. The Bible says to flee fornication. I think part of overcoming is to admit to it, exploring the reasons behind it and what we are truly looking for. Do we truly want a partner and why? Is it just for sex? Do we pray? Do we trust God and how do we react to our failings? We WILL fail in many things but we must continue to TRY and trust that some time God will deliver us. Sin is more than just a woman with ex owed cleavage. God is a merciful God and Our Understanding is very limited.
@GyvonJante12 күн бұрын
All sin is sin. No sin is greater than the other. To offend your parent is the same as fornication when it comes to offending God. We have to understand that we must strive to try and believe God and don’t beat ourselves up for our infalible ways. We recognize and fight our sinful ways but don’t wallow in your shame. Flee fornication the Bible says. But we can’t judge sex as being triggered by open cleavage or a leg showing etc. Gods mercy is more than that. Sexual hunger is a natural gift/creation by God and a part of humanity so it in itself is not an evil thing. But we must exercise responsibility and understanding with it. Prayer and maturity and understanding is what we must depend for n without leaning into what the world and the ‘Christian’ defines as wrong outside of the Bible and its word.

@@JanelKLauren Thanks for this video. Knowing I’m not the only one struggling with this gives me hope that I’m not lost. I’m a divorced man about a month away from 70 years old. I’m going through this exact thing of stumbling then for a while staying out of sin then falling back into it and being drawn back in by it. I’ve heard for a while now-solid Bible teachers saying marriage is God’s design for sanctification. Plus, Paul urges folks to get married rather than burn with lust. I’ve also heard and acknowledge that getting re-married will not cure the problem like you point out. Yet I feel like I’m a sitting duck without that God ordained outlet for these needs, especially as a man. Even if it did help, there’s many problems getting re-married at my age and with gold diggers and scammers plus it being sin to remarry except for certain reasons. Thank you for reinforcing that we’re not lost just because we stumble and that the problem is somewhat ongoing. I consider myself in repentance and I’m glad that I still have that sense of guilt, Godly sorrow and conviction when it does happen occasionally. Yet like you said, I was wrongly looking looking at repentance (and thinking “I did good this week”) as salvation, that can be very deceiving.

I’m definitely subscribing because I’m tired of these fake Christians on their KZbin channels pretending to live a false holy life. They tear others down instead of praying for them. As a minister myself, I can honestly say I’ve fallen, even now, for this same exact reason. Lust is a very strong spirit, and it takes someone who has been through it to understand that it’s not easy to overcome. When I fell, I didn’t look for sympathy or make excuses. I was honest about it and didn’t try to hide it. For years, I’ve prayed to God about it, but it often feels like I get stuck in ruts. It’s like being a dog on a leash, going in circles-bouncing back, only to fall again. But I always confess it to God, never trying to hide it. In fact, I’ve prayed openly in front of others, admitting that I needed prayer to bounce back. I’ve also talked with my brothers in Christ who can relate. We all need each other in these last days.

I took a trip recently and I new that I was going to be exposed to a lot of temptations and I was able to call a friend and explain the situation to him and asked for daily accountability. This was effective and my trip was successful. A dangerous practice is to see how far you can go without falling. A scripture that I memorized was 1 Cor 10 vs 13. I appreciate your honesty and openness to share a little of your laundry. The struggle is real and it is a battle. Consider this same war taking place in marriage. If you gain a spouse doesn’t mean the same battle doesn’t exist. There are plenty of men who seek to love their spouse unconditionally. However, a situations arise, like past pain, current disappointments, grief, and disrespect that causes separation in the house. And that leads to abstinence while being married. My point is marriage sometimes it’s not the solution. This had to be a challenging video for you, but I’m glad you made it. God bless!

Don't do your best, sincerely look to Christ for strength. Look for the powerful grace of God that teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness (Titus 2:11, NIV; also Romans 6:14), not the popular watered-down version that gives us a license to sin and confirms us in our sin (Jude 4).

And including God more in my reading time, in my time of leisure, and when I can't sleep. I have prayed for you, and I'm reminding you that God loves you and that you are holy and the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You always have a Father, Mediator, and an Advocate, and the Lord remains holy forever. Stay blessed Janel!!

LOOK, THIS VIDEO AND ALL LIKE IT ARE RIDICULOUS AND BEYOND ASININE! God made you to f**k and such strong cravings, desire, need for it, even commanded us to b*ng one another and populate the earth ''before he got the bright idea for marriage to create some more sin for us with something he created he knows we need'' anyway he created it and made our bodies that way and what does he do like everything else?! Oh no dont do it its a sin and ill fry you! And we know its very healthy in every way for body and mind, very unhealthy in every way not to! Seriously f away and with whoever you want ''just make sure theyre clean because thats when it can be unhealthy if theyre not lol.'' And make sure you ladies wear some hot soft silky sheer sexy white thigh high stockings when you do, and dont put em on right when youre getting ready to, no wear them all day with a sexy one piece dress, some sexy closed toe heels, and make damn sure you use those hot soft silky sheer, warm moist wet sweaty, hot and sexy smelling, hot and sexy stockinged toes and feet during! This nonsense needs to quit! F away! This is also why relationships are failing and why people are falling away from each other and why theres not as many couples and why everyone is so unhappy and has so much pent up anger today, the sociopaths and psychopaths that run the media and everything wanted it this way/did it this way to divide us saying its bad dont do it. What you are seeing here in this video is the damage it has caused this man, psychiatrists know for fact now it literally turns people into sociopaths & that churches are filled with them ''especially the pastors'' & that churches are breeding grounds for narcissists, sociopaths, & psychopaths. That is what you are seeing here with the anger in this man. If they were alone out in the middle of nowhere there would be a good chance the student with the hat & glasses would never be seen again. I highly suggest you watch the ones I've listed because it all for solid fact is false and that is indisputable & not even debatable at all, that's solid & concrete! No dont ever give your money or anything to them ''not even your used cars because they sell them and take the money for themselves'' no put it where it will help the ones who really need it and where it will count and make a difference because I can guarantee you there isnt a pastor or most ''christians'' who give a sh*t! You said something interesting about prayer that I haven’t thought of before. It isn’t begging God to help you, which is a selfish act, but submitting yourself to God and asking for guidance. The prayer is not wanting anything in return but saying ‘not my will but thy will.’ I think I’ve got that right. I’m a novice. Thanks.

You feel that way because you've taken a legalistical approach. You re basing your rightouesness on your performance. The bible says we have been made the rightouesness of God. So on our worst day we are still righteous in God's eyes. We are also sealed unto the day of redemption ( rapture). Rightouesness is imputed not earned once we are born again. Acts 2:38

God does gives up on us, so we should not give up on ourselves, just as known one as a right to end his own life, we keep on doing our best until the holy Spirit takes over, one way is to block our minds totally and avoid the triggers, we ve to bcos we don't want Christ to meet us at that state. The fear of Christ can come at any time should help keep us in check and lead us to self accountability. Thank you for your transparency my sister❤️we need more dialogue concerning this. If I may add to this conversation. I hear a lot of Christian singles say that they’re on an abstinence journey. I think we need to look at that differently. I believe when we take on that mindset, it can cause us to take credit for keeping ourselves and not God. Like it’s our idea to abstain when truthfully it’s a direct command from the Lord…to flee sexual immorality. The “My abstinence journey” mindset can potentially produce pride. And we know pride comes before a fall. We do have a part to play obedience wise but He is the only one who is able to keep us from falling🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾He gets the Glory! Just my thoughts❤️much love to everyone! Stay encouraged!

Bringing thoughts into captivity... Entertain any thought for fifteen seconds and another thought of the same nature will follow... and the cycle continues. Recognition of unhelpful thoughts in those first few seconds allows us to change its direction before a cycle starts. When unwanted thoughts arise, recognise it, rebuke it, and mentally ask God to deliver you from such thoughts. That changes your thoughts into a prayer and thanksgiving for your forgiveness... make it take fifteen seconds or more and you will be in a prayerful state instead of a state of sinful or unhelpful thought... more thoughts of the same type should naturally follow. Especially if you make this a habit.

Even while being married. There's are things you have spoken where I can tell. Eventually you're going to find that king for you... GOD is revealing the tactics of the enemy in such a vulnerable, authentic, and truthful way to you. It's beautiful to watch. Thank you for this Not knowing what GOD is doing. A few thoughts as I came across this great video...yes, single people can idolize marriage for "relief", as you so wonderfully articulated (there is much truth in the statement), but be careful not to swing the pendulum too far the other way. It can be a snare by the enemy to remain in a perpetual state of singlehood by rejecting a good and blessed Christian marriage for the sole purpose of seeking victory of "overcoming" the sin of lust. We need GOD when we are weak, and we need Him when we are strong. There is no “state” of man in this life that will cause one to escape our intense, fleshly cravings (lust) that stem from inherently natural and GOD given gifts for both pleasure and procreation (sex). There is a danger for Christians to overcomplicate our struggles with sin. Seek first the LORD (who is perfect and forgiving) and His Kingdom (serving Him by ministering to others in His name) and He will strengthen you. In that context, unless you are a eunuch, seek a good Christian marriage (imperfect but good) where you can serve GOD together, and learn to meet each others needs for physical intimacy in a loving, and selfless relationship, through Christ and for His glory.

The weirdness around relationships and how to be truly vulnerable is lacking, which is why relationships are weak. In the struggle is the depth to become new and inspire others. Thank you again.

This video is timely. Sanctification is a process a journey, and we're all on it. Thank you for being open with your struggle, and the Bible says we over come by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of our testimony!

That scripture is not referring to the church . That scripture is referring to tribulation saints who do not receive the mark of the beast. 1 John 5:4 states that whosoever is born of God hath overcome the world.

I appreciate this video. To anyone that has been through this struggle I found that reading scriptures, prayer and fasting, daily devotion and growing your personal relationship with God intimately is a recipe to withstand lust as well as other temptations. However it’s an on going process because from personal experience the enemy will return when you think everything is good. It’s like you have on the whole armor of God then you gotta retool, refresh, and renew it continuously. Something like your phone getting updated regularly, keep each armor updated. Blessings to all we’re in this together

Thanks for sharing, your points about stewarding yourself properly because something may happen to your partner in marriage and you easily fall back into whatever you were practicing before the marriage is something I never thought about, since I myself was banking on the fact that getting married will solve the issue of lust.

I’m getting angry seeing this I was just ranting about this few days ago how so many believers falling back into lust. I seen like 5 people who were abstinent for years fall all around this time so I know that the devil is working hard to get believers to stumble. Devil is a chump trynna take as many people away from god. I myself almost fell last week, thank god for his mercy. I’ll keep you in prayers this video hit home

@@JanelKLaurenThis season? The feelings of lust has been around since the fall of man. “The Lust of the Flesh, The Lust of the Eyes, and the Pride of Life” - 1 John 2:16 What's happening is that more believers are coming out on social media and being transparent in their testimonies and what was once taboo and embarrassing to discuss is being comfortably discussed by many and not just the same 10 Christians.

1. Pray to the holy spirit to expose all you're sin especially the uncunciouss ones. Cleansing of heart and renewing of mind. 2. Study and proclaim speaking out loud scripture over yourself (every day). Letting the Holy spirit guide you always starting off in prayer, also pray for people to study with who actually know God personally. Search studies on youtube. 3. Ask God to direct you're steps in overcoming temptation having a villigent spirit filled with conciousness and wisdom, to actually defeat the sin and rebuke it right away in the moment. 4. If you fall? Don't worry you concistently repent and ask God to continue to help you (constantly rebuking any lustful mind or desire) and to punish that evil spirit. 5. Pray for God to guide you trough the deliverance process, search for a minister (spirit led) and self-deliverance by continuing to do secret place time (repentance, submission, study, prayer, worship) continue to go to God for help pushing barriors yourself trusting His authority. Also searching for teachings or deliverance prayers on youtube. The most important of all is>> staying close to God and His love

Remaining committed to waiting isn't easy and that's a part of the Walk with Christ that we have to understand we are not as strong as we think we are. I don't have everything all figured out. One day I had to decide that I wasn't as strong as I was, I was tired of being tired. I recognized that the more I returned to sin the temptation became stronger. I was done with going back to what wasn't fulfilling. It's an everyday fight and no one is perfect. Have to get up and not feel sorry for ourselves and create stronger boundaries. God is in control and he will lead and protect you. We're human.

Thank you for this video. I recently moved to another city where I don’t know anyone, and there is no church nearby. I noticed that I was spending less and less time with the Lord. I found excuses for everything and thought, *I am saved, so that’s enough. It’s no big deal if I don’t pray.* After my conversion, I no longer struggled with lust; the Lord took it away from me in an instant. But last week, it suddenly came back. Everything happened so quickly, and afterward, I felt dirty and ashamed. Over the past few days, I thought: *I’m already unclean, so I might as well continue sinning.* But today, I realized: *This is enough. This is not who I am or who I want to be.* The Lord loves us, and if we fully surrender to Him, He will always take us back.

I didn't realize how much grip it had on me until I tried to quit for the past several months after trying to give my life back to the Lord. I'll go for like a week or two and start to feel self-confident before falling yet again. I guess the lesson God is trying to teach me is the foolishness of self-reliance. This is almost an impossible force to go against on one's own strength. Thank you for sharing!

This message is very powerful and relatable. The strengths to share is appreciated. This journey, this walk, has its ups and down but it’s reassuring when you come across someone dealing with the intricacies of “trying” to stay disciplined. Understanding that “trying” isn’t a but surrendering is the answer. “Continue to seek the kingdom, & everything else will be added.” 📍

I heard God calling my walk with him to a deeper connection in December of 2022 and I started my celibacy journey. Knowing the only way I could even ask for a Godly woman that isn’t running the streets was to become a Godly man who doesn’t run the streets is what gave me that extra push to understand this was the right route, but through these years I’ve learned the importance of not allowing those lustful spirits to gain power in my life through sexual immorality, masturbation, porn, etc … so what started as a journey to find my wife ended up healing me in areas I didn’t realize I needed healing. I say all this to say I’ve recently fell into lust again also and I empathize with what you’re feeling. Picking yourself back up is tough but the enemy wants you to believe it isn’t possible. The fleshly part of me wanted to just stay in my fallen state a little longer because it knew once I got back up it would draw me closer to God. I’ve gotten back up and I’m proud of you for being vulnerable enough to admit your sins and also get back up. You got this ❤

I'm a 31 year old guy. Christian (Non- denominational & Non- Religious), single, no kids. I Decided that i'm going celibate/semen retention until God aligns me with me Life Partner. Its going on 2 years now. I have slipped a few times sexually immorally/ lusting as recent as last night. So i know i needed to see this. I'm not subscribed or anything, it just came across in my feed, i just subbed. I can definitely agree that this is a HARD journey but we just gotta lean on his God repent and seek he first ALLLL THE TIME! Thanks for sharing and being vulnerable, you are not alone in this fight! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
