Syntac you should make a mini gatehouse! It'd solve the problem of your gate looking a bit odd, be 100% on-theme, and look visually pretty awesome too as it would break up the big flat wall with something cool. Also the ceiling is unsupported atm (as in visually, like it would be irl), so some arches/pillars would look great.

Since you have S+, check out the "S+ Starter Block" when you want perfect placement of your foundations. You put it down in the general area for your first foundation, then point at it press and hold 'e'. You should see options for adjusting the foundation left, right, up, down, and you can even angle the entire building! Once you have it just right take a foundation and replace the starter block with it.

26:26 the other side snapped, because the roof is one tile higher, where you put the support on the outside wall The decorations need a wall to snap to and because the roof is "free floating" in front of the house, it can't snap You could place another support arch on the lowest roof tile, then you can snap the small roof decoration Edit: oh well, you figured it out lol

For the diagonal triangles, you can use the Keep gun to change how it looks with alternate styles/looks, same as how you toggled the one arrow window wall previously. It will give it a different look on the outside edges. A decent amount of the pieces in the Keep mod have several or more choices to pick from. It's by far my favorite building mod.

Syntac uploading this frequently again is nice. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying "Give me more content >:((( idc about your mental health/burnout" but I'm appreciative of the extra effort to put out this many videos at the same good quality. That and having some of the gang back reminds me of the old days, especially with some of the mods that have been added to this server that don't make it so OTT like big modded series but make it spicy and new enough that it's not just playing the same stale old game where everything is as expected. It's more fun to see the chaos of taming things when you have no clue how to do it and things go a bit awry at times. Blood moon mod is deffo a good touch because the good moons must make grinding a lot easier so you're not spending nearly as much time doing the tedious parts but the added surprise of blood mood happening and potentially fucking up your entire existence reminds me a lot of the early days of ark when things would attack and your actually be scared. I used to be scared shitless when theris would suddenly appear and shred my base or getting mobbed by raptors early game. Tldr: loving the new series!

You might find it interesting, portcullis often have either 2 gates or a gate and a door so you can trap intruders between them and dump hot liquids on them such as boiled water, hot oil, hot sand, and quicklime. They would be poured in through holes called murder holes.

The modular archway used for the gate is for 3 wide archways, it includes a straight piece that goes in between them. If you use the normal arch the roundness matches the round windows.

I usually use the medium gateframe for the Portcullises as the pillar door frame dosn't mesh into the building pieces when used as a doorway and it looks strange, I just finished my simple castle build on the server I play on. I know the glass windows have different variants as well (most pieces do), but if you want to add color the building pieces can be dyed (including the roof tiles.
