Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. 1 looked heartbroken dude. He got really lucky and also played an excellent towny game by finding mafs and then got converted. It sucks he threw but we can all understand why. He also was on the same wavelength as pipe, said the same thing about 10 being confirmed. He probably already assumed the VH figured it out along with Pipe. Those are my thoughts on the matter

Honestly, he didn't throw. His ONLY path to victory was convincing Pipe to throw and get converted after hanging VH. Even if Pipe got hung instead, it's 1v1 vamp vs VH, which is VH win. Maybe they win if no one hangs, but VH would know that only the vamp doesn't vote there.

You can spend the whole game carefully dismanting the opposition just to have one guy drag you onto the team you helped destroy at the last minute. It's almost like you shouldn't try if there are vamps in, because you'd only be weakening your future teammates.

Technically they weren’t guaranteed win, had VH staked Pipe again instead of 12 they could’ve stalled it another day and then bit Pipe to make it a 2v1 and then they vote out the vh

Pausing the video at 3:40, but I just want to say now that I think 12 not posting as spy immediately is the BEST thing you can do as spy. If 3 truly is consort, they never would have admitted to RB'ing 11. Not instantly revealing there is a spy leads mafia into making mistakes like that, and I genuinely think that type of play as spy should be used more often (honestly annoys me it isn't).

Once we had a 2 hypno game, I was one of the hypnotist's. Our Godfather claimed transporter and we'd ''transport'' his targets. Spy didnt reveal till d3, blew out our entire cover. Got hung because nobody trusted the lad but afterwards it was pretty straightforward. They hung GF the next day, Invests dropped the rest of us like flies.

On day 7, the vampires coudnt have win even if 1 didnt throw. The onlt way for vampires to win was for the town to vote their own confirmed vh. So basically unwinnable

When mafioso or GF dies, it's worth saying publicly the number you're shooting that is an escort claim. If it's real escort, you'll be roleblocked. If it's consort, high chance is they're turned mafioso. The only rare scenarios it won't work is if both GF and mafioso or two consorts are in game. Or CL, otherwise you will guarantee you won't shoot a townie.

@@princessatellaluma When mafia needs to have a member promoted into mafioso due to lack of mafia killing, consort takes the priority. It means that when an original mafia killing dies, you may think that promotion took place and you can publicly announce that you're shooting an escort claim since consort commonly claims escort and could have turned mafioso and asking to be roleblocked by the escort claim that you're shooting. Since mafia has no roleblocking power (if their only consort turned mafioso), they can't prevent their member from being shot. The real escort (contrary to consort) will never lose the roleblocking ability to prevent you from shooting, unless turned into vampire which is not bad too shoot after all. There are also other unlikely but possible scenarios, that sometimes may make evils take advantage of your public claim, such as GA protection, Coven abilities, basic defense, but this is rare and more often you help town by calling the shot than trying to surprise since you're usually faced with escort-consort scenario. Let me know if you want those unlikely scenarios explained though.
