Medicham V will forever be my favorite standard V alternate art from SWSH, the texturing and colors of it in Japanese pop so much irl. Sylveon vmax alt art is still the best vmax alt art from the era tho

All of the Eeveelutions tie in my opinion, especially the Vmax's. That sparkle and texture on those cards along with their unique colors just makes them pop. Thats why I love the premium collection promos so much aswell

Solid list, man. I completely agree that the Glaceon Vmax is the top alternate art for the set. Tons of Pokémon, it's bright and colorful and that pink outline on Glaceon really makes it pop. It looks so happy that even I can't help but smile when I look at that card. First Vmax alt I pulled from the set, too.

Glaceon VMAX is also my top pick from the set; the fall leaf colors against the blues, the slight purple outline and shadow, the yellow pikachu - the colors just pop without feeling at all messy. And on top of all that, the texture radiating from glaceon's foot on the ice. MASTAPEECE

This is a really good list except for the Umbreon being C and not S or high A, and Glaceon V being too low. Everyone has their own preference so I can't hate. Also, I'd agree that Leafeon vmax is the worst of the eevee vmax alts and I'd probably bump the Ray V up to A. I'm curious what you think of the Chilling Reign alts. I love the Galarian Slowking and it gets so much hate. The artwork is freaking amazing to me.

It’s fun to see which ones are everyone’s favorites and why, but it’s also an opinion. No reason to get upset, plus everyone looks for different things in the artwork-Opossum tends to look for more pokemon to add dynamic to the card, which is great. I personally look for color dynamics, scene, and detail, which is why I would personally rank Glaceon V, Espeon V, and Leafeon V higher. It’s art, it’s meant to be subjective. Like music, everyone is going to have their own tastes and preferences.

In my opinion D tier is definitely Duraludon VMAX, but switch Leafeon V and Glaceon V. For me, it depends on which has better features. Glaceon V has more fine details (Detailing on the buildings in the background, shadows from trees into the snow, Footprints in the snow, snow on the branches, bench, etc) Leafeon that has more bland areas (the yellow ground & monotone teal Horizon background), the leaf pile looks blended together (tho there is some detail), and a blurry tree. Also agree multiple pokemon on one card make it better. Medicham and Golurk are 🔥 all day.

I think the Aerodactyl V from lost origin KILLS the ray from this set. I regret not having either of these cards, I had them all in my hands so many times. Honestly the Umbreon V is my favorite Umbreon card period. Totally agree there.

Ok, l’ve just been noticing a lot of gatekeeping in this hobby lately with poketubers friends. He has a bigger platform than most ppl you have made videos/segments about. I know you don’t condone his products but I would hope you would be consistent enough to be outspoken about not just his products but about him like you have with others, unless there are friendships going on. I would say there are plenty of bad reviews of him to look at but he doesn’t allow them on his site and deletes any comments on his insta. Too many ppl have fallen victim to his clever ads and poor product delivery but still I don’t see any mention of this like I’ve seen you cover with others channels. You should see what the community thinks about his stuff.
