I fly a Waco Biplane for 26 hours in 30° weather!

This episode, I ferry a 2000 Waco YMF-5 biplane with Cam from Florida to Edmonton, Alberta. With some unexpected delays and exciting fuel stops on the way, I meet some friends I am sure to keep for a lifetime. This YMF-5 has an R755-B2 Jake on the front. Great airplane, and a paint job that really stands out!

Great content! Love that you can fly these at night... Open cockpit is brutal in the cold. Flew ours once on New Year's Day....8F and I only lasted one time around the pattern!

Hi Emma, just discovered your channel , thoroughly enjoyed and have subscribed, Like to see a young women such as yourself taking up a flying career, you've obviously got many aircraft type ratings being a ferry pilot, wondering how many hours you have clocked up. I'm a 71 yr old New Zealander, I was brought up on the west coast of the south island of NZ in a what was then a very isolated place called Haast, no road access until the sixties, small population and were serviced by a ship into Jackson Bay every three months and a five day a week Air service ( weather permitting which often it was not ) by two De Havilid Rapids and a Cessna 180. Prior to the Cessna 180 and the Repids in early years three De Havilland Fox Moths were in service along with two Dehavilid Dragonflies of which there are only Two airworthy Dehavilid Dragonflies left in the world one of which is at the Manderville air museum Gore new Zealand, Of the Rapids only ZK AHS is still in existence being on display at the Museum of Transport and Technology in Auckland NZ , The other Rapid ZK AKT was written off after a crash landing in the Shotover river bed near Queenstown NZ in 1967. Rapid ZK AHS was still airworthy at the time of her entry into the M. O. T. museum in Auckland NZ. As a child I was introduced to flying at a very young age.
