Just got my 22i's, they're insanely good, a big step up from the Twenty 21's, which themselves were a big improvement on the Focal Aria. I'm hearing clarity in very fast drum fills that I've never heard before, very very impressed

I've designed many t/l speakers and I've always strived to maintain a well damped LF driver cone right down to its fundamental resonance Fb that is ... using low Qts drivers is a must really ... but I've always managed to arrive at a NON resonant line and this means the port only adds some LF energy at almost subsonic frequencies... using a larger driver than a 20cm one . A transmission line should be aperiodic.

I would like a job at your company. Is there any jobs there at the moment? I am into audio in a big way. I am very good with tools and electronics and I have a design degree.

Why are there so many stupid and offensive comments here? @David Smith @Jim Rourke @Maya Paris what is wrong with you guys? I'm pretty sure you never ever heard any PMC Loudspeaker. So calm down and go playing outside.

I’ve come back to this speaker over the last week or two, it’s been on my list of new speaker replacement. I keep getting put off though because i’ve been told and read numerous times that in order to get the best out of these it’s better to play them loud. My playing volume tends to be low to moderate hence i’m siding towards the ProAc db1 But i do like the look, design and build of these speakers

I play mine quite quiet. They sound great no problem.

Wilson audio also uses soft dome tweeters in their $5000 to $150.000 speakers, fantastic high end sound.
