I don’t blame them for being confused by Rupert’s Land. I’m Canadian and we’ve been taught about it since second grade and I still didn’t understand what it was until like 10th Grade lol. (It’s the territory defined by tributaries that flow into the Hudson’s Bay for anyone who still doesn’t know. It was valuable because of the plentiful amount of beaver pelts that could be produced there. Also the Hudson’s Bay Company operated there lol)
