Tbf to him most of king George’s life wasn’t actually like this. Even up until the 1780s people around him saw him as a ruthless tyrant who knew exactly what he was doing and he was surprisingly was believed to be rather well liked by his people as far as kings of the times go for most of his life. The state you are referring to is his last 10 years of life, which has unfortunately and ironically become far more famous than the accurate history of the man as you elude.
