This was a really fun hunt. I ran into a bunch of metal detecting friends, and found some great stuff!!!

What a great hunt....so many shells though. Reminds me when I visited Sanibel Island. What a nightmare that was sifting through all that. If you get a chance, show us those rings all cleaned up at the end. I love to see that.
@DetectFlorida Жыл бұрын
It can definitely be a pain in the butt, but a nice hard layer of shell will trap the good stuff!

I use a Stealth 720i hybrid scoop with an Xtreme brand carbon fiber handle. It does the job well in chest to shoulder deep water!

do you worry about sharks? Bull sharks like to hang out in that gulf water.

Nah. We're not food to them. They swim among us all day every day and most people have no idea they're there

I almost always know when it’s foil, but I’ve found nice gold pendants in the past that sounded identical. Gotta dig them!

I love how you skip all of the hunting with nothing to show - just the good stuff. And you even speed up the walking. Thanks for all you do for people.

Thank you!! I don't want you to get bored!!! I find tonssss and tons of trash. I know it's good to show that I'm removing a bunch of it, but I don't even enjoy watching myself find it! haha

I typically go out as deep as I can comfortably walk. Usually up to my neck. I keep all of the good stuff for display cases and gifts for friends and family if its something that I won't be able to find the original owner.
