Bring big mama there! The fish grew up free and happy and now it was caught and thrown into a shallow small space that's freezing..she he can't go deeper to get warmer. It's kinda sad really. When you step back and view from another perspective its like taking a tiger out of the wild and sticking it in a side show 10x10 cage.

You have to hold snappers and gator snappers in different places so you don't get bit so you need to know how tell them apart and where to properly hold each one You can seriously hurt them carrying them by their tail like that especially the heavy ones because their spine is connected to the top of their shell and the weight can disconnect it and cause serious problems Just so you guys know next time i know you would hate to hurt or kill any fish or animals

It's to bad the filled in those three ponds by the abandoned fountain. You could have caught some cool fish for your tanks and ponds. FCKN AMAZING!!! By father said to find some FLAT BLACK SLATE ROCK or round BLACK river rock to put in the bottom of 1 side of your outdoor Ponds. IT HOLDS HEAT believe it or not. Warms up by the sun light and is equal to the water temperature. You can get 1 big pleco!

That is true about handling Snapping turtles. Tyler from ty pig patrol has caught them in Texas when he’s fishing and he always picks them up on the back on the sides. There has been injuries to the turtles from picking them up by the tail
