I found the BIGGEST King Crab I could in Korea for my Mum...🦀😱

My mum loves seafood. And so today we take my mum to a Korean Seafood market, and buy the biggest king crab I have ever seen!!!!

I was stationed in S. Korea with the Army for 2 years. I went to the fish market in Noryangjin (second largest in the country at that time) and bought a King Crab, and 10 Tiger Prawns, some clams, and a couple squid. I had to go and buy a large stock pot to boil the crab, and it STILL barely fit in the pot. I boiled the crab (New England style with some crab boil seasoning). I steamed 5 of the prawns and SCAMPI'ed the other 5. I boiled the clams with the crab. And I sliced and fried the squid. All that with some potatoes I wedged, breaded, and fried like I did the squid rings. Sooooo good! :-D :-) I LITERALLY ate on that twice a day for nearly a whole week. :-P

@@aliphetc expect to pay about a little over 200 dollars for a boris. It really depends on the seller and the season because in times where crab is in high demand you could pay over 300 for one. Prawns aren't too expensive you can get one of those for about 20 dollars. Snow crabs are about 30 to 40 dollars.

I feel blessed as an Alaskan and having easy access to king crab, and bairdi crab. King Crab has always been my favorite, i'd choose it over lobster. We also have some of the best and most fresh salmon in the world.

Great series! I’m glad your mom was good with trying the crab “tamale” as we call it in the states ( I imagine they call it that elsewhere as well ) too many people leave so much to be wasted when it comes to crustaceans. It’s also excellent on garlic toast.

The tamale is the BEST and most flavorful part! Koreans also do a garlic and soy sauce marinade with blue crab. Its marinaded raw and also eaten raw and its SO delicious. Taking the tamale out, and mixing it into very hot rice is an experience everyone should try. Especially so if they love seafood.

갑각의 진정한 참맛은 살이 아니라 내장이죠... 새우의 머리와 내장, 게의 내장.. 특히 황장 녹장 흑장 등등 중에서도 가장 일품인 진득한 황 내장에 게살 푹 찍어먹으면 이 세상 어떤 음식보다도 환상적인 맛이 남... 아 먹고 싶다 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

we korean people love finishing our meals with fried rice. especially when we ate big meals like giant crab, or Dakgalbi(stir fried chicken), with all that sauce makes fried rice full with flavor! so love it.

I used to think Adam Richman from 'Man vs Food' could eat like a horse... Josh, "Hold my soju, I'll be ordering for the table!" Holy crab Batman, I think Josh has a second stomach! Happy endings start with amazing food, great company, smiles, laughter and a lot of love. Ridiculously fun binge watching Maureen's Birthday visit, well done JOLLY, love it as always! Where I live we have a place called the Prawn Farm, and what you do is you go in there, they give you a rod and some bait and you go outside to the farms, and fish for prawns 😍 and they are as big as the ones in this video ^ and you can fish there for as long as you want. Then when you’re done, you take your bucket up into the restaurant, and they cook it for you like in this video too hahaha and it’s really amazing 😇 and there’s also games and information sites there and hot mineral pools and water park games etc. ✨if you’re ever in New Zealand, I recommend it :)
