While I do agree with that, I think he’s basically playing a bit of a character since he’s basically doing thirst traps for large audiences. Idk though. I think it’s kind of like how love interests in romance novels are often toxic, because it can be fun to fantasise about things even if those things would be unpleasant irl. Some people (not you) have been acting like he’s definitely done something awful, and I think it’s because his behaviour feels too familiar. I do think we can criticise the content though while not assuming anything bad about him. I think this is so famous because of how normalised toxic relationships are. It's the same thing as the romance genre. And then proceeds to ask perfectly normal questions like "Do you happen to know when [video game] is coming out?" Or "Do you happen to know if you have a copy of [video game]?" One of my favourite customers lol
