Hello Jason Can you please make a video on nurse working an SF who doesn't pay mortgage

Thanks for all this, I think at this point we all agree you’re not all about money. You don’t have to explain yourself, I’m all about finances myself and love to talk about it. Only the ones who are financially illiterate, think it’s wrong to talk about it.

Curious how much difference pay for scal and ncal (RN), due to cost of living. In scal, radilogy dept. gets tons of ot, can easily make over $200k with minimum overtime.

It honestly seems in nursing you’re not only joining a profession but a community. I don’t see this level of community for other professions even doctors or accountants

Hey Jason thanks for your great content as usual. I think a lot of new and experienced nurses want to know which Kaiser is good for work at. From the FB nurse groups I'm in, Kaiser has a controversial reputation, and a lot who have worked for Kaiser said it really depends on which locations. Some Kaiser hospital locations are terrible for patient safety and etc. So it would be interesting to see you rating some key Kaiser high pay locations. Thanks~

I plan on relocating to California within a year. I am an oncology infusion nurse and was wondering what hospitals/infusion centers you'd recommend?
@KandyGTV2 ай бұрын
I've started PMHNP school but I'm starting to really consider moving to California next year after my daughter graduates. I'm so tired of Atlanta and how abusive the hospitals are here. Definitely going to look into purchasing your program soon.

Great content Jason. I am still in my home country but hope to be there soon. I am beginning my assignment in Iowa but will not hesitate to move to a high paying state after that. Your videos have enlightened me a lot. I will sure purchase a number of your products

Hey Jason can you also add on how to set up 401k and 403B?

I would love to do that but every employer has a different way of setting that up.

@nursestoriches On the spreadsheet how did you come up with the years of experience part? For example at Washington if you have 10 years of experience that doesnt mean you will be hired at step 10. Another example once you reach step 5 , you will be at step 5 for 48 months before moving to step 6. So Im just curious did you factor in the step system at all the hospitals?

I used someone who starts as a new grad working for any of the hospitals on the list.

Easiest way to increase salary without picking up overtime is by applying for increase in clinical nurse level! Clinical Nurse IV makes almost 20K/year more than Clinical Nurse II at Stanford

@@therebelsunflower no. It was not my paystub. My paystub is way higher than what Jason showed. I want to be interviewed but i want to remain anonymous. I want to share my story but at the same time i do not want to sound like i am bragging. I am happy and thankful where I am now living a humble, simple, and peaceful life.

@@d3r3kyasmar I love hearing people’s stories but I would want to stay anonymous as well. People can be very mean online. Well, I’m happy for your success. I’ve always wanted to be a nurse but it was so elusive. Love the transparency Jason and Monica give. I’ve learned so much in these last 2 years than I’ve ever known about the field. How long have you been a nurse?

But what jobs in kaiser pay for 8 hours? I have looked internally and found none
@NursesToRiches2 ай бұрын
The majority of the units (medsurg, tele, ED, peds, L&D, call center, and PACU) at Kaiser have 8-hour-shift positions. We look at job postings frequently and mostly see 8-hour-shift positions.

Kaiser pays time and half above 8 hours. He's wrong here, I'm a 12 hour employee and make time and a half at the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center. It's even in the nurse bargaining contract.

@@NursesToRiches Bro, I work there at the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center. I'm a 0.9 FTE and it shows 4 hours of time and half for each shift.

Thank you for making these videos! Question... I have my CA license but I am not a resident of CA. Do you know if I am able to have a full time in CA and still have my PRN in my home state? I know you are not a tax consultant, but I would like to stay in my home state and have my full time in CA. Is that possible?

I wonder how Toronto Canada compare to these rates. I hear of nursing grads leaving Canada the day they graduate. I guess this is the reason.
