I Found the TRIFORCE in TOTK!!!

Ever since the release of Breath of the Wild, us Zelda fans have questioned where the Triforce has gone. After years of research, and information in Tears of the Kingdom, I found the Triforce hidden right in front of our faces. Enjoy as I give a breakdown as to what happened to the Triforce and where it is located in the Era of the Wild.

In Breath of the Wild we see Zelda wielding the full triforce in her hand when she first awakens her power.

The Triforce was alwways within Zelda's possession in BOTW and TOTK. From her stopping the Guardians, and eradicating Calamity Ganon, to healing the Master Sword slowly as the Light Dragon. That "Triforce-Beam" is just from Rauru using his Secret Stone's power to "repel or destroy evil with his power of light" (Mineru says) The real question that I want to know is: Why does Rauru have 3 upside-down Triforces that uses the negative space to create that Triforce-Beam? The Zonai's posses the 3rd eye, which is said to see the unseen (like the Lens of Truth) so I wonder if the Triforce's Missing (or hidden) middle Triforce Piece is true. Now this makes me wonder if there was a 4th Goddess that Din, Nayru, and Faroe does or doesn't know about! The Unseen God(ess) that takes up the negatives of whatever the 3 create or do. Hmmm, the more you talked about the Zonai's link in the Molduga attack scene, it actually made me wonder if the Zonai did to the Triforce what Zelda did to it in the OG game, broke it up. What if these random secret stones that popped up out of nowhere and are on par with the Triforce are just that...because they were made from the pieces of the Triforce?

memory 1 of botw. "whether skyward bound,adrift in time, or steeped in the glowing embers of twilight". the best theory i have seen on it, was that the 3 elemental dragons held a part of the triforce each. when zelda went and prayed at the springs, she thought she was awakening power already inside her, but she was actually collecting parts of the triforce. also would explain why the elemental dragons are here in the first place, to safe guard the pieces, since they can only be seen by the pure of heart.

@@user-rp8ov5zy4c Glad it's not just me. It just seems like it would be kinda strange that after decades of building his desire for power, they'd make him snag wisdom instead. Also, he did gain a pretty significant amount of power, and didn't seem any more wise or courageous; those are qualities he already had as a leader.

in botw memory 17 when Zelda awakens her powers and the ending when she is sealing calamity Ganon it show the all 3 pieces of the triforce on the back of her right hand. and in totk in the memory after pulling the master sword you can kinda see it on her right hand, it is hard to see but there is a glow from her right hand. since Rauru has the the secret stone of light he could of borrowed/channeled the power of the triforce from Zelda to do the beam attack. Zelda does have a larger glow than Sonia especially coming from her right hand during the lead up to Rauru's attack. i think Zelda still has the triforce and is unaware of it, so she can't use it to its full power.

It seems as though the Forgotten Temple may have been the original home of Sonia, which is why her grave was erected there. Sonia having huge ears seems to point to her having Zonai heritage, which would explain why Zonai architecture integrated was integrated into the Temple. The chamber that holds the Mother Goddess statue directly resembles the Courtyard where its found in Skyward Sword, meaning the chamber was either carved that way in homage to the Hylian Canon or was already like that.

The Era of the Wild doesn't take place in a new timeline, it takes place in the far future from every other game in the series. The founding of Hyrule Kingdom mentioned in ToTK is merely another Hyrule Kingdom that has arisen in the wake of the last one (or maybe several) dissolving. Similar to how the Hyrule Kingdom in Spirit Tracks was founded after ancient Hyrule was flooded. The triforce was probably sealed in the Sacred Realm when the last Kingdom collapsed, as it always is whenever Hyrule is in jeopardy.

You can’t expect some random unexplained event to happen and literally destroy the entirely of hyrule, that’s just lazy writing and The goddess bloodline would have literally ended, So Zelda in BOTW wouldn’t have the blood of Hylia

@@sheikah_eye461 It doesn't have to be Hyrule being literally destroyed, it can just be the decline of Hyrule as a country leading to its reformation under a new dynasty, whether that be because of natural disaster, civil war, outside forces growing stronger and laying waste to the lands and its people or even just the natural eb and flow of empires over vast amounts of time. There's a reason why BOTW is deliberately set so far ahead in the future, a length of time that we have no real number for. It could be as long as hundreds of thousands of years, long enough for dozens of Hyrule Kingdoms to have been established, rise, prosper, fall, dissolve and be re-established again. For all we know, the gap between BOTW and the rest of the timeline is so big that even with TOTK being set 10,000 years before it (most likely much more) both games may still take place long after the rest of the series. I say most likely because while the literal translation is 10,000 years, in Asian cultures that number is traditionally synonymous with 'an indefinitely large number' so the implication is that it's much further in the past than that. For reference, the Dynasties of the Old Kingdom in Egypt, the ones who built the Pyramids, ruled for about 500 years in total. It was the first kingdom in Egypt to achieve a sustained peak of civilisation and was ruled over by Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Dynasties. When that kingdom eventually dissolved, it lead into a period of decline until around 160 years later a new Kingdom would rise founded by Mentuhotep II of the eleventh dynasty. That was only 4000 years ago. Now try imagining how much history could happen in over 10,000. Time itself is enough of a reason to support the theory that Hyrule Kingdom is not one long dynasty but many successive kingdoms carrying on the legends of old. Any ancestor of Zelda that went through these events could easily have survived by being disguised a normal person like Tetra in the Wind Waker, or merely carry the goddess bloodline to create new dynasties like with Sonia marrying Rauru. It's clear that the Hyrule Kingdom seen in BOTW is not the same kingdom as in Ocarina of Time or Spirit Tracks or A Link To The Past nor is it meant to be. It makes more sense, and fits more in line with Nintendo's intention, for this to just be a new kingdom in a new land that was named Hyrule, like how we see in Spirit Tracks, rather than Nintendo going back and retconing every other game in the series for no reason.

They wanted these two stories to be basically their own continuity so they had more creative freedom but they still wanted to have connections to the original games. The logical answer is just setting them in the distant future. Demise's curse assures that there will always be a Link, Zelda and Ganondorf reborn at some point in history so those cycles of rebirth, conflict and decline are built into the mythology of the series. I like the implication of there being several links and zeldas and ganondorfs that we simply haven't seen, lost to the depths of history, like this cycle has been going on for so long, a lot of it has simply been forgotten. As for what Rauru said, I never took it as anything other than he was the first king of this particular Kingdom of Hyrule. He was the first person to establish his dynasty in the land currently known as Hyrule and unify it into a kingdom within living memory. The last Hyrule kingdom may have ended so long ago that it has since faded into memory, hence why Sonia, who holds the royal bloodline, was a priest rather than a noble, her family having lived in obscurity. It may seem like lazy writing but I like how many blanks are left for us to fill. I especially love the confirmation of there being a Zonai like hero who fought the first Calamity with the Sheikah long after the Zonai disappeared. And i also love how the Zonai ruins in Lanayru are found to be much, much older than the Zonai ruins that fell from the sky, implying that there were tribal Hylian civilisations that worshipped the Zonai before they appeared.

@@Ted_Curtis There has never been any reincarnations of Ganon. Also if there was another Hyrule before Rauru's then they would have assumed that Zelda was talking about the past one and not the future.

The Spring Servants possess the Triforce. I believe that the Three-Eyed Seal was created to pay homage to the Zonai who gave up their lives in order to secret it away. We know that Mineru is already aware of the phenomenon of Draconification and that the practice is taboo. While losing consciousness is harrowing enough, it's possible that the practice was actually banned in order to avoid revealing the exact form of the Servants. We know that the Servants are unique in the fact that they each possess a glowing faceted scale on their backs that resemble the way the individual Triforce pieces are illustrated within the OG Goddess Statue. This same illustration is also seen on Sonia's arm just below the Mark of the Zonai. The Dragon carvings that make up the entrance to the Lomei Labyrinth also bear illustrations of the Triforce in its original appearance carved on their teeth. The Triforce itself is based on the Japan's Legend of the Three Dragon Scales, so the reference seems to have come full circle. Knowledge of the Hyrulean Crest's appearance was probably later unearthed when someone of Sonia's bloodline used Recall to "draw out" information from the past; this would explain how Zelda is able to reference all three timelines during Link's knighting ceremony.

​@Punchable-Face We don't know that. Just because we haven't seen the child/children doesn't mean they don't exist. It took 17 years for Bowser Jr to debut in the Mario games. Prior to this there was no mention or hint of Bowser Jr's existence much less a mother that Bowser mated to birth the boy.

I feel like a lot of people think about the male gerudo being born every 100 years and wonder why there hasn't been any in over 10,000 years. I also think that they kill off the born male just so another Ganondorf doesn't happen. Plus, notice how in the Gerudo Desert, it went from the male as their king to the female chiefs. Definitly didn't want another Ganondorf to rise into power.

I view Skyward Sword’s story as an Elder Scrolls style Dragon Break. That means no timeline split off of Skyward Sword’s ending.

I've seen the dragon break theory but there is a simpler solution Link's time is NOT the present its the future. As for the timeline split there is no split from the ending however there are three viable points for a timeline split the Imprisoned fights. When the Imprisoned reaches the temple an alternate ending plays out resulting in a game over.

Something tells me Zelda isn't done yet because we need to have a prequel of the Goddess version of Zelda I theorize all the Zeldas incarnation from previous games is actually the Goddess Zelda a lot of rumors are going around with Raaru SOMEHOW being able to control the Master Sword could Raaru be the original Link? However I don't physically think the game covers how it was ACTUALLY made in the Legend the Goddess ZELDA creates the Master Sword are all the Zeldas in the game that ZELDA trying to pull herself back together? Also is the Link from all the incarnations trying to put himself back together as well? Remember every Link from previous Zelda games is the same Link in a different incarnation so is the Princess or GODDESS Zelda. We need to know MORE about this GODDESS because something has paradox theory written all over it. Don't forget guys the cycle of incarnation with the encounters of GANONDORF began in Ocarina of Time that would be so wild if Nintendo was trying to mind fuck us and bring back Ocarina of Time intentionally.

Not necessarily. In Minish Cap the Light Force is passed through Zelda’s bloodline which is entirely different from the Triforce and could possibly be Zelda’s sealing power in Botw.

I personally don't believe the era of wild games are a reboot. They were more of a reset for Nintendo so they weren't restricted by the already existing timeline. They wanted to start fresh on a new timeline.
