Loved the Union Pacific #4014 4-8-8-4 Big Boy steam locomotive that came through town at the end. The largest steam locomotive ever built and recently restored for be part of centennial celebtation of the driving of the Golden Spike at Promontory Utah wete the first transcontinental railroad met up.

Omg the best part was the train! I have train tracks by my house and omg when I know the steam 611 from Spencer NC to Roanoke VA is on her way (via us 611 followers on Facebook) we all stand in awe!! Or.. We chase it from Reidsville NC to Danville VA...I stop at every crossing and watch her go by and cry...cause my dad took us and did the same...that pillowing steam, the sound...omg and it takes me back to when he was alive and he loved Tweetsie Railroad, the memories!!!

How many leaned to the right just a little as the train rolled by? But on a serious note Paul, make you a holding rack in the front of the rack for storing that back bar. Then it could on hand for when you need it and out of the way when not.

That was a really beautiful engine, with quite a few carriages behind it, we love to see a steam engine at full chat and in motion here in England too. Even stinky gross old microwaves all help to bump up the takings of the load, as we say in England, every penny counts, and I guess that's true everywhere really, and a good philosophy too.

Time stamp 4:40...."Wouldn't it be awesome if they were copper?" …..No because then they wouldn't hold folk our size and if we tried to sit in em we'd end up doing a rather harsh tush plant.....no thank you. LOL I prefer iron and just paint em copper colored. I actually have a bench like that, that I have taken apart with plans of cutting new wood slats for, sanding and repainting the iron, and rebuilding it this Fall.
