I found true purpose in simple living when I downshifted.

We all seek a life of purpose, but the grand narratives I was led to chase in pursuit of purpose and happiness were meaningless to me.
They often just turned out to be elusive moving targets & endless treadmills.
I'd rather live small, have less and happily cherish my loved ones than keep grinding for stuff that doesn’t matter. Not to mention the fact that the more one owns, the more time and effort it all takes to maintain.
