Thanks a bunch for the support every video! Most colonies have past the founding stage/have workers now. Just need to give them more food and I'll be able to finally have large colonies again. Have to beat prime 2018-2019 Ender Ants when he had all those colonies in the cubes and tubes setups 😎

Question:::::: Starting test tube set ups are for when the queen is new and she is full on wing muscle to feed her young. I got 3 queens now in December all their brood have failed. I could use a guide on how to keep them alive feeding and needs to help her get to spring so she will restart laying and try to build brood pile again. This is a Huge challenge for a novice ant keeper. I see zero guides on this subject just how to keep new queens. Well what about the ones that are not new but still in the box so to speak. How to care for them to get to year 2 and a real founding? This is my question as i hope my queens do not die before spring.

i appreciate this comment greatly. will have shorts uploaded starting today every week until i get back home next month. excited to find ants and excited to do a lot this summer. i’m always learning when it comes to ants and re-learning some things because i haven’t been so involved with them the past 1-2 years. i make lots of common mistakes still, and don’t really feed them, but i’m hopeful it all changes now that i want to make more videos again

Remember to clean your ant nests especially if your ants trash it and mold everywhere ☝️ I use hot water and dish soap. Rinse it and use my fingernails to dig out all the nasty 🤮 poop stains, stuck on the floor of the nest ☝️ Then rinse it a few more times. And let it dry. Wipe off water droplets on the plastic lids and etc. the. Once air dried. Put back the nest where it was originally ☝️
