I like how OP’s wife stayed with the daughter and Bio dad for 2 months and not once did he consider the idea she is cheating or at the very least having an emotional affair. The fact that your wife abandoned you to play happy family with that loser for 2 months should be enough for you to not offer her back into the house and divorce her ass, as it obvious they are just using you for your money and will take any opportunity to go back with Tom.

first mistake was doing it for a Step daughter. Not your own kid. Op comes off as a naive person who projects his ideal way things should go instead of accepting it for what it is. His main goal was to do a bunch of stuff to win the step daughter. He gives way too much without expecting respect in return. He lived in his head not in reality
