I Gigged the New Soldano MINI SLO and Here's What Happened!

If anyone had any question about this Mini Soldano being able to handle a live gig...especially an outdoor show, where the sound can get lost, this clip settles that issue. Great demo Perfecto...great tones, great playing and really great over view of what this little beast can do. Thanks...this will be my next mini. As George Lynch said in another clip, if you want to get to about 75% of a $4000 real deal SLO 100, this will do it for you for a very small fraction of the price.

Great demo. That's about as thorough a test as you'll see. Financially, the 'real' SLO is pretty unrealistic for me, so I really like that these little re-creations are coming out.

@@kenmasters007 I also recommend Bugera. Got a 333XL 120W head for 350 bucks on Ebay, three channels, and you can mix and match tubes in it, self biasing as well, no tech needed. Fantastic tube amp for the price, great features, you just aren't paying for the name like some brands. Some people claim they "catch on fire" but look up any major amp company (cough Marshall) and you'll see every brand has had those problems at one point. Recently they've been fine since adding the "infinium" tech that allows for the tube swap. Gigged mine for 10 years with no issue. My first one did catch on fire, but that was because the dude who borrowed it dropped it, didn't tell me, and it unseated a tube and up in flames she went (luckily it was fixable), but that can literally happen with every tube amp. Once that one went, I got the infinium series, and what a genius idea honestly. Saves you so much money time and headache associated with tube amps.

The Friedman BE has accented highs and lows making it sound scooped so it sounds scooped and the doesn't cut thru the mix. The Soldano is more mid-focused so it cuts more. But they're the same power rating

An mxr micro amp or DOD fx40b eq pedal in the loop can really make these mini amps loud. Gig loud without mics.

Hello nice to meet you for the first time and I have to say this is well done brother.I wish I lived closer because you are someone I would click with in a rock and jam sense.Soldano in my early days was only a dream fantasy Amp I first heard of it thru George Lynch following.Just love his style and sounds from Under lock and key and Back for the Attack.I don't think Soldano was sold here in the Midwest. Diezel is more tight metal tone and doesn’t really clean up. For Lynch the Soldano would be better

Not familiar but I would imagine this is much louder than the HT-1 and I don’t think it has an effects loop, does it? .To use the SLO Mini as a preamp, go out of effects send and and plug it into the effects return of another amp.
