Those wheels will look so nice after they've been sent off to be refinished. I'd say keep them around for winter tires, since winter tires with tall side walls are preferable. I've always had a soft spot for alloys with lots of delicate spokes like that, particularly when the length and apparent size of the spokes is carefully measured and not excessive. It needs to have that wire wheel balanced appearance or it looks wrong and BMW did such an excellent job with their older alloys.

It's just a thrill to watch people using their talents and skills in fields I haven't had the pleasure to experience in any degree, like here: Restoration of automobiles. Watching your KZbin videos among others from Europe and North America have surely expanded my knowledge, but the true delight is to watch people like you with much better skills and talents than mine doing their best, explaining along the way and showing it to the world. I get why you're going for the large V-engines. Sometimes these formerly extremely expensive luxury cars comes for free. Other times very cheaply. And with a bit of this and a bit of that, you have a running V12 vehicle and ain't that one of the nicest sounds one can think of. Age doesn't matter with these cars. Restored and refurbished, they're still oozing luxury all over the place and when you've dumped your bags with purchased goods from the grocery store in the trunk, closed it and turned the key....the sound from a V12 in the parking lot is way different than all the 4-cylinders combined. I do wonder if it may even be cheaper to run a restored V12 BMW for 3 years, than buying a factory fresh tax-burdened 4-cylinder and using that for 3 years. Hat's off. Love it.

Hey Sreten, I have two tips for you related to that E32 Highline. First of all, an easy and inexpensive way to (possibly) get rid of moldy smell. It won't cost much and you can probably reuse it for other applications. Purchase a bag of activated charcoal. These are sold in pet stores for aquarium filters. Place charcoal inside an open canister. Place open canister inside the car. Wait a few days and check for smell. Regarding the mold, I would get a rag soaked in a mild disinfectant. Be sure to wear gloves and breathing protection (not for the disinfectant, for the mold). Wipe down interior. Check the underside of the car and see if it's equipped with catalytic converters. These cars have TWO of them. If not, your fuel tank likely has a charcoal canister to absorb gasoline fumes when filling up. If these charcoal canisters get clogged, BMW wants $130 to replace these. A link I found has a much less expensive but equally effective solution, again using activated charcoal. www.km5tz.com/BMW%20850iP3.htm this person bought a 1991 850i (same year as your Highline, and likely to be a similar spec M70) and put it back on the road. He has a TON of great content for cars that use the M70 engine.

E32s are such wonderful cars. I have a ‘93 740i that is pretty clean that I’ve daily driven for 4 years. It is a joy to drive, super reliable and very economical, actually. Especially highway cruising. All of my other Classic Bimmers are cooler, rarer, more valuable by far but the E32 is the go-to for pizza runs, trips across the state (Oregon) rain or shine, etc and it never leaves me yearning to drive the other faster, manual trans, prettier ones. So glad I got it as the e32s are just impossible to find unless they are V12 models or 735s that have a gazillion miles or have sat neglected for many years It is a weird yet strong personality who likes them over most BMWs I believe. @@technopro-kz4xv what's the fun in that??? Even then, getting any gasoline BMW here is almost imposible! This country as a love affair with diesel that I cannot understand... Maybe we love massey ferguson too much and they want to ride them everywere... (I hate diesels, if you cannot get it from this anwser)

@@NiPPonD3nZ0 Is it really impossible to find a gasoline BMW there in Portugal? I feel your pain because i also hate diesel cars. I live currently in Spain and it’s almost the same but, you can find gasoline cars here easily but as in Portugal, there is a noticeable preference for diesel because is obviously cheaper. (By the way my parents and my entire family is from Portugal 🇵🇹 😁👍🏻i have a cousin in Lerida) my car is a BMW E90 320i (gasoline 😁👌) 6 speed manual and love it every single day! The law will change very soon regarding the diesel regulations in Europe (diesel apparently is worst for the air pollution ) and the near future is hybrid Electric+gasoline and full electric, but no longer diesel cars in Europe as i’ve heard the last couple of years.Nice meeting you André 😉

@@technopro-kz4xv Not THAT impossible, but realy hard... and expensive... an e36 316i completely worn out is more than 3000€... for a 500€ car... complete madness..

Save it Sreten! E32 7 series are becoming more & more rare. A massive job rescuing this one but it'll be worth it in the end. Great car. Awesome videos you put up. Thank you.

If all else fails, swap the engine it into a E39 wagon.

A few years ago a sat in a 750il highline. Black over black with all the kit. 92 with a cd player! It wasn't that broken and as far as I know it has been restored or is still in the process of being restored. Amazing cars. Congrats on the catch
