You ask about saving one person, so you need to check out the story of Jessica Buchanan. She was an aid worker in Somalia who was abducted by a terrorist group. True story that will somewhat explain the mentality of real S.E.A.L. members.

That would be an awesome reaction for her channel. It would answer her burning question about this movie, and also give her a lil insight as to what makes America different from the rest of the world. The documentary and interview of Jessica Buchanan hits hard, especially knowing that it's a true story.

Yes but it's also the mentality of America as a whole. And it's not all rainbows. If you allow your people to be killed abroad and you don't do anything...people start feeling uppity. They stop fearing you. This part of American mentality is just as much about ensuring fear and compliance and respect as much as it's about caring about our own.

About the coffee thing, I'm an old guy who has dealt with chronic migraines since I was 7. Coffee works wonders but sometimes you need something stronger. It's all about the heat and caffeine that open up the capillaries and ease the headache. Find a second drink with more caffeine, there are several types of tea that are double the caffeine And make sure it's hot as you can take it. Pleasant surprise seeing you after your post the other day. (meme of Kermit the Frog running around yelling Yaaaaaaaaaaaayy!!

Great movie. Crying doesn’t mean your weak. The strong cry too. The difference is the strong will cry but won’t let what’s making them cry effect what they have to do. They will cry and compose themselves and continue on with the job, with the day, with the person, with whatever they were doing and find a solution. The weak will cry, and continue crying and complain about the problem and never take on the problem and find a solution.

This is a great movie. Sadly, Bruce Willis was injured by shrapnel to his head during filming one of the battle scenes and he was not given proper medical care (someone in charge allegedly told him to just walk it off) and therefor suffered lasting negative effects. He ended up suing the production company. It's really sad to think about this and see his current medical condition.

@arthurcamargo8416
@arthurcamargo8416 4 ай бұрын
She didn't trust him... she thought that once he found out who Arthur was, he was going to have to inform the chain of command, who would have reminded him that getting involved would have meant more than just rescuing the prince, but also explaining to the world (at the UN) why the US was intervening in a civil war. That would mean that either the US would need to commit with troops or aid or both, or that the US would have to make reprimands... i.e. give the prince back. In reality, if this happened, the US would have gotten a slap on the wrist, and Arthur would have to live in exile or risk being arrested. He could claim political asylum and it would have been granted. Lt. Waters (Bruce Willis) would probably have been subject to a tribunal hearing for going rogue: disobeying orders and interfering with the sovereign affairs of another country. In 2012, the "Right to Protect" Doctrine of the United Nations was actually "retired" or withdrawn, as there were too many questions of when a country can or cannot interfere, even when there are human rights violations going on. For example, in Libya, the Right to Protect doctrine was invoked in order to protect citizens of Libya and even neighboring countries, and then NATO ended up killing Qaddafi, which in turn, destabilized the entire region! It gets awful tricky in matters of this kind. Also, the movie's plot is based on Canadian forces having a similar mission in Colombia.

Yes Biss that animal is called baboon, it's pronounced as buh boon. There are few types of baboon, not sure exactly which type this is. As for your take on the atrocities, yes I agree, they can't even be called animals cuz they're worse. These monsters deserve a punishment worse than just death itself. By the way, the actor that played the Dr is an Italian, Monica Belucci. And the LT actor is Bruce Willis (from Die Hard) not Jason Staham. Though this film isn't exactly a true story, the civil war is loosely based on the Biafra war in the late 60s. Some of the actors (the extras) playing Nigerian villagers actually experienced atrocities committed against them in that war, so playing a role in this film makes it extra heartbreaking coz it's like them reliving it again. As always Biss, your reaction is hilarious at times, including the chopping song 🤣🤣.

I'm a 56 year old man, and the scene where the Muslims were killing and torturing the people in that village, cutting off the nursing mothers' breasts so that they couldn't nurse their children - that scene tears me apart, each time, with tears of rage and pain at the inhumanity.. Watching the special-features of my dvd (special edition) as several African refugees told their stories also infuriated me at what they had suffered.

Otherwise, as far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best military epics in my personal dvd-collection.

I agree with your views but they are not monsters, the scary part is that they are probably ordinary people. They did a study about one of the einsatzgruppen who where in ukraine during ww2 and it was just ordinary people from all sections of society who did the massacres. That's scary to think about

More people should react to Tears of the Sun. Definitely one of the better war movies. A dark, gritty cruel tale on the human condition and our place in hell.

Hello Biscute, there is another aggravating movie (docudrama) about Africa. It is The Siege of Jadotville (2016). I remember the plane crash of Dag Hammarskjold. I never knew about these Irish Soldiers and their ordeal. " Hey! "

Great reaction to a great movie! Luv the firefly reference and your "Chopping Time" song! Internal tribal feuds are never pretty and continue on to the next generation wich is why they seem to go on forever! Great cast with Bruce Willis and Monica Belucci! Besides the plot holes it was a great movie! Thanks for sharing Biss ❤️💛😊
